Blackgate? It's got at least sixteen possible paths, probably more by now, and TBH I was pretty meh on most of the ones I played. (And it ran out my endurance too--I basically only got through three quarters of them before giving up because holy crap is running everything down to try to figure out WTF is going on a lot of work for little-to-no story progression.) Nowadays I just look over periodically to see if Alin or Gruff is in the update screenshot and ignore it otherwise. I guess I'm in the minority though, since it's raking in the cash--that voting on who to work on scheme is great marketing.

Ehh, that style has its points, but progress goes waaay slower if you've got a bazillion characters/storylines. One of the other VNs I'm sort-of-following is like that, and updates to the characters I actually like are few and far between.

The game is really cool! The only thing that confuses me - every character looks like a f..cking sex machine, but I can't reach any sex scene ) It's more like a romantic VN )

Fair Enough. I get each path is it's own continuity and events all stand on their own, I just figured the characters personalities/idiosyncrasies were a constant across all paths. But yeah it's highly probable that regardless of his personal feelings (or lack thereof) Spencer doesn't trust Darius at all and just wants the best for the MC which is why he's okay with the other potential relationships. At this point it's purely conjecture and all we can do is wait and see I suppose.

Careful you don't upset the earth's rotation with all the mass you're concentrating in Cresthaven. :) Though I suppose it can't be the case that *all* of the teachers look like Butch or Tai or Grifter, because Darius admits to sleeping with some of them (in the VN) and not going for larger guys (in the AMA).

Yeah, but Spencer hasn't admitted anything of the sort *in Darius's path*. Every guy favors the MC in their own path, in coach's path he cheers MC/Coach rather than pressing his own suit, I'm not sure you can definitely say anything about him here other than that he's concerned for MC and wary of Darius. ...though, yeah, I also think it's possible he'll confess attraction to MC at some point. Possibly by getting into a fistfight with Darius. After he catches Darius dragging MC into the bathroom of Dynamite Springs. (And then things get _really_ complicated. >_> )

@Reganareth and Hyou Vizer I see your point but Spencer has admitted to having long standing feelings for the MC that he never acted on because he wasn't sure they would be reciprocated, so I would be surprised if he wasn't at least a little jealous and his thought process was along the lines of "Why him and not me?". Also I suspect there is more to Darius than the shallow, deviant front he shows others. @Dyne I don't see how we could possibly not enjoy what's next.

Defiantly, really no complaints about any of the characters routes. Their just all so unique in there own way that none of the routes ever feel the same and so many different choices in each route. Your a great writer and seem to genuinely care and enjoy doing this project witch is refreshing. Would like to read more of Harold's book to.

Thanks :D And as I work more and more on it, I keep learning new ways to handle and approach things. It's just keeping the side options and missed choices straight that can be a pain XD There's one little inconsistency I found in the last update I need to fix, but it's super simple.

Maybe, maybe not--Spence is the guy who protected MC from bullies, and this could be more of the same: he isn't jealous, he just thinks Darius is dangerous. He does have a bit of a love-em-and-leave-em reputation.

Well well, I'd say a love triangle is afoot. Spencer being jealous makes sense, but I do wonder why it's only Darius he acts this way towards. Dozer is an interesting one. Without an in-depth analysis I can't say for sure, but I'd wager he's an INFP personality type. You want to engage him in conversation small talk is not the way to go about it, but find a topic he is interested in or start an in-depth philosophical discussion you might be surprised by how much he has to say. It will be interesting to see where the routes go from here, and I look forward to it.

Whoa, the math teacher actually showed up. After seeing Butch as the infirmarian, I figured the math teacher was staying home because the college had a minimum weight requirement for employees and he needed to bulk up some more :P Definitely like how these lines are shaping up.

i noticed in darius' route the team doesn't talk about the friday practice game, is his route just going to be way different? i really won't mind if it turns out darius is some kind of chaos deity and going with him completely alters the timeline.

I enjoy how you have a wide variety of how the story can be played out with each of the love interests for the MC - its refreshing how much effort you put into each story line to make it unique and memorable. In addition, I really like how Spencer is getting more involved in the story lines of the other characters - it really shows how much he cares for the MC. Anyways, keep up the great work!

Darius would absolutely drive me crazy after ten minutes--but he is pretty easy on the eyes. And he does seem most likely to ditch all his clothes first. Well--unless Chester has some sort of horrible embarrassing accident, I suppose. ("Why were you wearing clothes made entirely of origami?!" "Look, I didn't think it was gonna rain today, okay?")
