Did the Log and Rollback features work just fine for everyone?  I got a lot of mixed feedback there, but now both of them should be working just fine, for anyone that might prefer one over the other.

What about the extra art on Chester's Route?  I'm going to assume most everyone say all three pieces of the guest art from the convention.  Did you guys enjoy that?

i enjoyed Chester's recent day, I figured it would be at the hot springs from hints he dropped from the previous day. Love the direction its going with him talking about their future sex life with the MC. It's a tough call between him and Harold atm who I like more.

And to add an example ; both help the player character at trying to get with his guy, with same results, but different motives. One does it because he's your friend (obviously), despite his complete crush on you, knowing that one of the main reasons in his route that he doesn't tell you about his feelings until Day 8 is because he thought you were straight, and despite figuring it out in Coach's route, he's still trying to help you getting closer to Coach. The other does it because the ignorance between two people in love makes him sick, and he expects to get something in return which is most likely sex related between these two (namely MC & Spencer, much more noticeable than with Coach). There is I think a slight element of altruism, but the rest is mainly for his own interest. Again, same results, but one is selfless, the other is (at least more) selfish.

Other people here have advocated for content over polish, which I agree with--but mostly because EA is already good enough there that I can appreciate the content without being distracted and annoyed by execution issues. As far as routes go, they all are well done, but my impression of them is tied up in my reaction to their characters. Chester is ridiculously cute; the only thing that bugs me a bit about that route is that, except for one specific path on D6, he basically trusts the MC for no real reason. Though maybe he actually has no reason but intuition. Grifter's route is the one where I have no real emotional investment; consequently the latest day seemed a touch melodramatic to me. Other people clearly are way more into it and don't think that, though, and considering it, it seems likely the cause is that Grifter himself was *feeling* melodramatic about it. Spencer is, as people have mentioned, easy and comfortable so far (except that he himself can be a slavedriver). Overall his line is very sweet, but I have a decent tolerance for saccharine so no issue. Honestly, I'm kind of a sucker for this type too, and there's a little fantasy world inside my head where he's basically shining knight Prince Charming. >_> Dozer needs more days still. Darius... sigh. In principle I don't object to the existence of a "friendly flings" path as was mentioned earlier, but it is *really* not my preference, and every time I encounter a VN where, for example, there is no choice but for the main character to pursue a sexual encounter with somebody they met three days ago, I want to throw it against the wall. Of course that's not what's happening here--rather the opposite. Still, the main result of playing Darius's path has been to make me like Spencer more. Darius may not be a jerk all the way through, but he acts like one a LOT. An aggressive jerk, who likes being in control and flaunting it. And honestly, while the sexual pressure is annoying, it's *that* aspect of him that I find completely infuriating. If I were MC there would be no Day 5--while there are glimpses of non-jerk Darius here and there, it is sooo not worth digging them out. That said, I will continue to read Darius's path. Maybe he'll surprise me. Maybe MC will just go for the no-strings fling, and things will work out fine. Or maybe I'll get to watch Spencer kick his fuzzy ass into the next county. Either way! (Some of you may call me out for hypocrisy, in that both Spencer and Darius are constantly telling the MC what to do, but I hate it in one and don't mind it in the other. That would be because of the difference in how I read them--while most of Spencer's commands have a good chance of benefitting MC, a good number of Darius's seem geared toward benefitting Darius.)

Didn't have any issues with either the roll-back system or log, and they complimented each other rather than feeling pointless together in my opinion. I'd like to see more of just how mc's parental situation will tie back into each of the routes (possible that he lost them when he was younger, although I feel like that would alter his character drastically in a negative way.) Regardless on if we learn much more on mc's past or not I would still enjoy a much later "meet the parents" like update mainly for Spencer's interactions, since he would have known them growing up with mc.

The only route I really have an issue with is Darius'. I actually don't like how the MC wants him to be less of a sexual deviant, and doesn't just go along with his advances. There's already enough hard-to-get with the other routes; it'd be a nice change of pace if Darius' route was friendly flings. Maybe an option to romance him later down the line if you make perfect choices? Who knows

The rollback work fine, but I still have the problem with clicking the "I'm here to see you" option with Chester; however, I tried the "Event?" and that works fine. I tried without the gallery and I still have the problem.

It's not something I've really considered just yet, but perhaps as the main routes for everyone start to get near the end, it might be something to go back and look at.

As of right now, I really think that a rework just fine, however, I believe that most people here would agree that there should be more content in general rather than polished content. I do have one question though: Will there be a possibility that routes intersect wherein the MC can have 2 or more partners for a single playthrough? I've noticed that in Spencer and Darius' routes, both seem to to give an impact on each others' story lines with the MC. I'm just curious though.

Ugh, so many Spelling and grammatical errors. The curse of not typing in my native tongue. What I wanted to say in the first paragraph is that I prefer get alot of one character than a Little bit of every character. So focusing on 1 character per update of even month would be cool. I'd rather get it on with 1 of them a month or two down the line than all 4 of them in a year :) Also, love what you do!

Both log and rollback works, and it's great! :D As for content I think that new content should be added before reworks are done in general. I am much more interested to see an arc actually hit the end (not to mention hit the bed) than I am concerned about a reworked start of the game. Especially at this point. As such I personally would prefer longer updates to 1 characters route rather than smaller ones for 2 or 3 characters. That way it would drive the story forward in a focused way which I personally prefer. It's more enjoyable for me to focus hardcore on one characters story at a time and get a little bit of everything. I might be in minority on this, i'm not sure. I agree with JTalbain that more things from MCs Life would be neat to have pop up. Character-wise I will now provide a ranking and review in decending order of hotness/interest: I certainly gravitate towards Chester alot. I like his look, I like his personality and I share his interests. Perfect fit really. Been alot of teasing which is fun but can get a bit frustrating at times when it seems like things are going to happen and then don't. I enjoy it though. Second favorite is Spencer. I certainly had childhood friends I crushed on, and Spencer is a really nice guy so I can relate. Not to mention he is really good looking (probably my favorite look since he strikes a good balance between super sexualised Darius and the more Heavy bulk of the others). Really interested to see how it goes when the story takes you back to the club for perfomance night. Coach... Well, he is a sweetheart and there has been alot of things I enjoyed with his route. The sexual tension in the lockerroom and showers was the highlights for me. Also getting a peak at his underwear at the book signing was Dirty in a delightful way :D . My concern for him though is that he seems to be very high maintenence what with his depression and bithcy ex. It has awoken my "care"-gene for him, but having him spiral much further down would become pretty dark. Which might be the intention. It is certainly a very different feel to his route compared to the more carefree Spencer. Darius. He certainly likes to show off, and has sexy underwear so thats a plus. His attitude in public is a bit grating but the recent update started to show some depth to him. Looking good so far. Dozer. Don't know really. There is to Little info about him and too few scenes with him for me to develop any feelings for him yet. For now he seems like the more boring version of Chester. He likes to care for people and has severe parental issues. HIs interests are nice but a bit... well boring. I don't know, I need to see more of him to say for sure :)

I'd like to see more added before things get reworked. Seeing the side routes fleshed out a little bit would be kind of neat. Of all the things that are currently in the game, they seem the most "bare bones" and disconnected from the rest of the story. It would be neat if they got to possibly interact in some ways down the line, although I realize that could be a lot of work depending on how many combinations would be appropriate for interaction. It could just change a couple lines of dialogue and still be a neat plus. Having other minor aspects of the MCs life integrate into the main story would make it feel very organic.

A lot of my concerns have already been mentioned by other comments (such as the missing bios and some backgrounds) so I do not want to put something you are already aware of. On the other hand, I loved Chester's character development. I really like how he went from someone who was reluctant to do anything sexual and doesn't want to be thought of as someone who just wants sex to someone who trusts you more and is looking forward to having interactions with the main character. I am a sucker for all the teasing and whatnot and the art and lines were right up my alley. I can't wait for more Chester!

Glad to hear you like Chester so much! He's so cute, it's hard not to love him. There are some situations where their poses just don't work right now. Like, Coach's last update. His current pose just doesn't suit the crying face that well. I definitely want to get some of that changed up in the future! Thanks for the overall feedback :D

I want those to be there for when I write those scenes, as I don't feel it's as effective without them. And considering what I have in mind for those scenes.... You have no idea how much I freaked out when I saw the Chester onsen scene! I wanted to make this image my new desktop wallpaper soo bad xD I... still have this pic on my computer... somehow it fulfills my Chester needs until a new update of his comes along! (sorry for being this weird but hey, this shows how much I care about this character so that's a good thing, right? XD) I think that more facial expressions and character poses are going to be needed in the future just to make the characters visually more natural and touching when inserted in certain situations or even demonstrating their behavior towards a bunch of scenarios. But I mean, this is totally up to you. I like what I already have - it kinda has a certain personal touch that I wouldn't like it to lose, you know :) I found those 3 extra arts a really interesting feature that I wasn't expecting to see! I have checked 2 of them already, I have yet to see how the last one looks like sooo... probably going to replay the latest Chester update just to see it (or just to my bae again :x) Now that I think about it, it feels a bit odd that Darius and Dozer don't have the same bio description thing at the beginning of the game, like the other characters have. Something easy to fix in the future, I hope ^^ I actually used the Log feature once or twice (maybe?), but I did find it useful! Especially when I accidently skip some dialogue lines I want to read. Still have to check out the rollback feature, though.

What we need as well is more main cast interactions outside of tennis practice. It would liven the cast up a bit, out side of their route. But yes, more poses and expressions are a must have for Visual novels. No matter how colorful the cast and their personalities are if they don't have different expressions it would just fall flat

Hello :) I might suggest improving the intro stage and then improve the side routes. So far, the Coach and Darius are my favorites. Coach and Darius are so much like real people from the gay community, Coach being the loving bear, yet ever searching for someone to love, and Darius is that little hidden gem under the cover of a "love rat". And last but not least, the log and rollback functions are good additions to the game, but i don't use them because i like to play the game as you do in real life. In real life you can't roll back your actions. sadly :) P.S. : i might also suggest finishing the story of the game before adding any naughty pics and too many poses, because the story is the "Pièce De Résistance" of your game. I'm kind of tired of seeing games full of good pics and chars but without a good story/script they're just pieces without anything to blend them altogether.

Seems that it's working good all around :D The beginning needs a little more info for the characters to kinda show them off (not to mention, I have no Bio screen for Dozer and Darius still!). I have some fancy bio screens I started making a few months ago, but... I haven't implemented them >.> Thanks for the input on these guys as well! Darius still confuses me, so don't feel left out on that... x3 And I hadn't thought about CG there, but doesn't sound like a bad idea. I think I'll put that into the notes.

Yeah, there's not a TON to be done, but there's enough to make a difference. And, I can really start reworking how my character images are done in earlier parts of the novel. I've been chatting with CM about moving forward with the art stuff, so after our Halloween project is done, I'm hoping we can get some art stuff brought to you guys and get these BGs taken care of (there are so many to do though!).

Good to know both work just fine! That CG was really big for me, so I was so happy CM could get that one done in time for the update. Well, the intro is still missing details for Dozer and Darius, and I'd kinda like to give people a liiiittle more info to work on before making their decision. And the side-routes are more towards filler for slow times, but some of them will add on to main routes. Essentially, an inventory system.. I kinda have one in the works, but I've not messed with it lately. Having the indicator (at least with money) would be really handy. All good info. Thanks :D

Odd, the log shouldn't have disappeared, unless you were just using the log by scrolling back (and not the button). Ahhh yes, I do still need to go back and update a lot of images in the earlier days as well. That's a big thing. There ARE choices that affect that already on a couple of routes ;) I just haven't revealed who's route and what choices. Thanks for the feedback!

i really enjoyed this update, the art and the time spent with Chester is always fun, the logic the main character has been following so far is pretty good, tho being a virgin would make him be more nervous around nudity around those he likes is pretty understandable, i like the way chester is making him more comfortable around it, would love to see how Spencer and Harold will handle that.

Log and rollback feature are working perfectly fine. Personally I don't see anything wrong with the beginning of the game, but if you feel it needs work on it then focus on that. The extra art on chester work was awesome and so cute. I personally love Chester route, even with his nervousness to make the sexual moves on the MC. On the coach's route I just want a few days were our happiness isn't immediately followed by a punch in the gut (although it makes me so invested in the character nad love his route). I think Spencer route needs more drama or something into; I like how lovey it is and seems like a normal relationship, but it doesn't feel like they've pasted best friends who sometimes fool around. Dozer route just needs more days so we can see more on him, I love him personally and like what has been shown on his route (will there be a CG/artwork on him and the MC relaxing on his current day?) but its barely at the friends level and I want to see how it becomes more. As for Darius I love how he and MC acts, but I'm utterly confused on what he wants and how to respond to him during choices. So far it seems he just putting on a show to get in MC pants.

Both Rollback and Log work fine. That out of the way I say focus on the beginning of the game for now especially if you feel it needs the attention. You only get one chance to make a first impression! The extra art was a nice bonus and the CG was great! As far as routes go I've enjoyed all of them. As well as the characters themselves. Personally looking forward to seeing more of Dozer's route since I'm curious to see how his character will develop.

A rework from start would be very good. No need to change much too I guess, aside from changing in the text that you would like to make, but adding the sprites of characters in scenes they don't show (Like Maria and Andrew in early days) and the bubble system in some dialoges would be great. I know you listed it as a endeavor you can't do yourself, but backgrounds are really lacking right now. Aside for that I think the rest is pretty good. I really want to see Richard's sprite soon too.

The Log and Rollback features both work for me just fine! I'm happy, because the Rollback feature is totally essential to me in trying out different routes and answers, his able to see more of he writing you put into the game. I always love extra art or more CG's in visual novels, so the extra pieces definitely made me happy. I especially loved the Chester CG in the onsen, because it definitely was more effective in showing the situation and his emotion than a normal Chester sprite. I would definitely love more CG's like that added for major events or instances. And speaking of Chester's sprites, I absolutely love his new emotions. They definitely fit his character and make me like him a lot more. So animated and fun!

They are all good ideas, but for now, I would put priority on the beginning of the game, there's not much time before the MC makes a choice between all the characters. The GUI should probably be the last thing to modify. Side routes are interesting, especially if they could lead to alternate endings/plot points for the main route. I'd love to have new faces & poses above all, but if you can't add that by yourself... Loved the pieces of artwork for Chester. I don't really hate a route or anything into a route, although Dozer's still underdeveloped. Spencer's still my bae. Darius I'm still curious about the swim club we haven't seen yet. There are several characters we still haven't seen again like Vernon or Tai.

I'm not sure if this is a feasible thing, but when I have multiple Windows open, and I click back to the game it goes to the next piece of dialog. If there were to be a way to implement a check to see if the game window is the active window, and if it wasn't then to delay the advancing of text until after the window is reactivated that'd be really nice. In terms of rollback and log, I much prefer the rollback feature since you see their different expressions if you didn't notice them at first. And I'm not really sure what you mean by reworking the start :P

Alright, first off the log/rollback both work fine no issues for either. The guest art was really cool and a little corny (more-so the first one) but very enjoyable overall. Not sure what you would change at the beginning there but sounds interesting, the side routes are interesting too though they seem like filler for slow spots more than anything, maybe long term your goal is to make them more significant to the main story. Either way I look forward to seeing where you take them. Personally I find the UI is fine as is but if others think tweaks are needed I'll go along with it. One feature that would be helpful (I think this was mentioned before too) is an indicator of some sort for Money/Items you have accumulated to help keep track for later if you need them. The characters, personally I find my opinion varies a bit on them depending on the changes in their routes but for the most part they are all likeable in their own way. If I were to rank them overall, Darius is my favorite with Spencer a close second, I'm more or less indifferent towards the others but Dozer is the main one that is off, I don't entirely understand his character yet and his route is a bit boring compared to the others but probably will come to like him more as more is revealed along the way. Hope this is helpful if there is anything you need me to clarify or expand upon just let me know.

Hiya! Loved the additional artworks and how Chester's story is unfolding although am hoping for a bit of 'drama' a little further down the line like there is in Harold's story, and maybe a few saucier moments? Not essential, just the blue balls talking I think... I'm not sure if anyone else got it but I experienced an error message at one point in Chester's route, however clicking 'ignore' allowed me to carry on just fine :) Apart from the above, keep up the good work and can't wait for the next update!

The "log" disappeared in my game (Thank you, I much prefer the rollback) I've noticed that especially earlier in the game, some scenes with Maria and Spencer, their images don't show, not sure if this was intended. If you choose "Day was good" you can see Spencer when he drops you home and finds out about your living arrangement, if you tell Maria you hit him in the nose, he doesn't show when taking you home. Using the small portraits in the bubble throughout the game (add some to the start required) and possibly add in choices affecting if you are the Top or Bottom in the relationship of choice. Chester's hotspring pic appeared different to the usual style, but kinda cute. Those are my only suggestions, the game is progressing beautifully and there are some solid feels in there developing. Keep up the great work
