Thank you all for the input about the mousepad :) I needed to get some ideas for future stuff, and that helps.
I'm tweaking my update schedule juuuuust a little, as well. Instead of the 15th and end of the month, I'm just moving it by one day and doing it on the first and 16th instead.
It's a very minor tweak, but it'll help a bit with fraud/declined pledges, or those that pledge at the end of the month for the update and unpledge before getting charged the next day.
SO! With that said, I'll have an update ready soon! Double D update, so keep an eye out for it.

2017-07-30 18:40:25 +0000 UTCHonestly this is probably one of the smartest solutions I've seen so far to the whole "stopping pledge before it goes through, giving the person access to the update" thing and it's honestly really sad that people have to go to such extents where they basically taunt artists who work so hard for their games and patrons to have it ruined by a select few.
