Update 1.50

This has been such a spectacular game/story. I've become so totally lost in it and attached to all of the characters! Is there some projected completion date for the final product? I'm so excited to see everything in its full, intended glory!

I use windows but it should just be a zip type file that you open then you run the executable or whatever the mac file type is. There is no installation needed.

I flew through the game to be blessed by Coach in the locker room <3 I can not WAIT till his story is finished <3 <3 And not to mention I'm debating on that wall scroll, i've had my doubts about visual novel games because the story can be lackluster. But even in beta this game has such great moments cradled in there. And I am catching the feels over coach <3 <3

Damn it Dyne, the Spencer Date on Day 11 is just perfect with the music in place! And all the other days with added music and background really improved in atmosphere. Very well done!

Harold's line is just so perfect. Makes me feel so emotional and I cry every update. I'm not gonna hide that, but Spencer... I'm really worried about him for some reason. He works too much even for an American stripper. But that could all be in my head. Either way. You're absolutely amazing at writing Dyne.

Hey Dyne I don't know if you already got this message before but After Day 21 with Spencer it went to Day 22 Which I was confused because it only said day 21 for Spencer. Not that I mind was just wondering.

Oh! also i absolutely adore having the option to pick which role one takes in the sexual scenes. like for some characters i'd love to top, but for others i'd prefer to bottom. idk maybe this is all completely unwanted critique haha

(spoilers! you've been warned!) AHHHHHH Im loving Spencer's route sooooo much! Im like so hella worried what he's 'hiding' now and what he's going to tell us in the morning. ugh i am concern. i stg if anything bad happens to my lil woofy im gonna cry. aLSO SPEAKING OF HE NEEDS REST!!! poor things running himself dry! by the end of the week he's probably gonna like pass out from exhaustion either during the game on friday or the tournament on saturday :( poor kid. also the sex scene was really good ooof. hope MC gets to bottom for woofy in the future <3 <3 also idk what the plan is for the mc in the end, but a bit more of like idk backstory customization or just customization in general would be cool. like the parent stuff is very meh imo, like its a decent backstory but i love to immerse myself in the role of the character i play! i know this isnt a triple a rpg lmao but its just a thing thatd be cool.

In the scene with Dozer, if I hit ignore, it will skip the whole scene.

You can just hit ignore and the game will bypass it.

I don't know if you saw the comment on the Error Log - but I restarted Spencer's Route - and on Day 5 - there was an error - a sound FX error? When Spencer brings him back to the Shelter? Basically Crickets sound or something - and it breaks the game rendering me not able to go further. I dunno if you fixed that already or not.

Everything is great so far, but I have one problem, I can't replay the last scene with Dozer. And I love Dozer... I think Coach is my favourite... then Darius and Dozer! Then Spencer and Chester. Anyway... Love Dozer Dozer! I'm so into gentle guys and muscle worship... But I can't get my mind out of that glitch!!!

I don't have many words for this update except, I LOVE IT. I'm really glad to see more of Harold and Spence, and it's finally nice to have a description of the terrible ex that is Dianna. As for those backgrounds, I'm really in awe of them, as someone playing the game and as an artist, myself. Had to restart the routes for Spence and Harold after playing the current update from where I left off for them, and so far with Harold's, I've noticed something regarding one of the backgrounds. With the MC's room, it goes back to the sketch version at some points. So far, dunno if it does that with the others. And I'm looking forward to seeing fully rendered backgrounds for the others respective routes.

I just wanted to thank you. Thank you for the amazing job you're doing with this project and for the effort you're putting into it. I came across your visual novel only a few weeks ago and I didn't really know what to expect but i was completely drawn in. When I started I picked Spencer's route and I spent almost a whole night reading the story and it was so unexpected to see how relatable it was to me. Being myself a shy guy, it took me almost 4 years to understand what I really felt for my best friend who now is, in fact, my boyfriend. Seeing the same situation in their story really gave me the feels and when they were about to move in together and the route ended i just wanted more and more so I waited and after the last update I can say that my patience was well rewarded. I also enjoyed all the other routes, they're all great and i really like the other characters. As i’ve already said, you’re doing such an incredible job with this and even if i’ve not been here from the beginning i really want stay until the end. Can’t wait to see what comes next! ^.^

Things might not always go as we plan, but we can always make it work ;3 I can understand how that is! Poor bear, definitely needs all the love we can offer him! He's really in a tough spot. Gavel did a marvelous job with them, so be sure to let him know!

Finally had time for the update, really loved it. The living together with Spencer, really has me thinking a lot about when I eventually move in with my boyfriend and how it might turn out and that yeah its not gonna be us being together 24/7, cause no relationship is like that. Really is great just how relatable their relationship is too me. And the big papa bear, the desire to just cuddle him and look after is breaking through strongly. He really does deserve happiness and hopefully his ex finally stays away, if dare try anything again D: Also the choice of music in the closet scene was really spot on <3 my feels have suffered damaged <3 xD Also the new backgrounds are really nice, it adds so much more to the scenes now. Can't wait to see it retroactively applied throughout the whole game :D

No idea! The thing with how I do stuff with Renpy is that... I wasn't expecting variations of a background like I got. So, all instances of say... the main shelter room I had set as scene ShelterRoom through AALLLL of my code. Now that I have a dark and cloudy version... I have to go back through my code and decide where dark or cloudy needs to go, since I didn't plan on having them x3

Yay for update :) Although, as a developer, I feel compelled to nitpick: isn't there a way for you to generalize background updates, like using a map collection (with background name as key and the file as the value), an enumeration or a properties file?

Why not have players post story guides then? If its work you don't need to be doing, let we the fans do it? You know we'll be playing the heck out of it, just ask a few of us to record everything and write it out. Saves you having to do it yourself.

Harold's route was so full of emotions... You did a great job with building up an atmosphere, it was so sad at first and touchy at the end. I'm glad to see it going in the right direction. Coach deserves what is best (And that's us of course :D) I wonder what is going on with Spencer, but the most exciting thing in his update for me was actually the talk with Dozer. I can't wait to see the double date! Also the background pictures are great! It makes the visual aspect of your story much better. Anyway... Amazing job as always! :)

I gladly started over with the Coach route. I'm not at the end yet, but I must say the new backgrounds look marvelous! They complement the character designs really well and add so much to the atmosphere. Can't wait to get my hands on the spencer route afterwards!
