Endless Bounty Feedback

Let me preface this by saying this isn't -not- a post for bugs/errors you've found.  Please only  use the error report form for that.   https://forms.gle/bZrq2GxECB1JyQBA7

Thank you all for the feedback so far too!  It's been great, and we're all really appreciative of the kind words.

We are looking to hear more about what you think, so let us know here!

Some things we're implementing is an indicator to show Lozran has new dialog (he has new stuff to say every couple of days or after certain events),  lots of new scenery to fill up the empty spaces in the forest to help with navigation, ambient sounds, clearing up some fuzzy clues and more!

I'd also like your thoughts about the navigation arrows.  I've had a couple of people suggest moving the arrows and putting them on the actual screen instead of having them at the bottom left.

I've had some folks suggest an inventory and map, but with extra landmarks to handle the empty screens, map navigation should become easier due to the size of the map.   I actually have one coded in and disabled, but it's way incomplete.  Inventory is a whole different beast for me.  I'll be looking into, but I can't guarantee anything!  I'll see what I can do though.

Thank you all again for the support.  Anything else you'd like to add about the project, just leave it here!

Hope we'll see more of Richard? ;)

It would be nice to have an option to skip to nighttime because I had some cases where I had done everything and was just walking around for the day to pass. Other than that I really enjoyed it, Gerald was definitely a fav, hope we get to see more of his dynamic with Drok’tar

burythecake

sorry to bother, but would it be possible to get a guide? unfortunately it seems even with persistance im unable to get the ending as well as obtain the sexy scenes

I don't want to give too much away if it's a spoiler. But you will have a stranger outside the Inn at some point and he'll want you to get salve

Cozzy

The salve scene?

StormPrince

If you find where the cave is after the salve scene, on the far left after the bridge you'll get an option to go down to the waterfall and it's on the right side. Hope that helps :)

Cozzy

Hey, thanks for answering! I don't think I'm quite there yet? I'm referring to when you find Gerald in the cave with the injured bear. Next day he disappears and you have access to the woods that loop continuously. I can't figure what to do from there onwards. Any hints?

Cozzy

If you're talking about the cave scene after encountering the hunter, Drok'tar says to go back to Lozran to report his accomplishments. That's basically to the end.

DyneWulf

Ah I can’t figure out how to find the moss! I think strategy games hate me 😔

StormPrince

Hey! any chances we can get guides for it? I'm pretty stuck after the cave scene

Cozzy

Ahh yes, the option to "Sleep Now" would be super handy, from even just a testing standpoint, haha. That's something I'd like to implement too! Thanks for all the feedbakc here!

DyneWulf

Hahaha, after making them so cute together, we kinda want Drok'tar to stick around with Lozran too, but we also like the dynamic he has with Gerald, so it's such a hard thing to do! Thanks so much too ;3

DyneWulf

I suuuuupppose clearing that up could be useful. We actually have new images made for the special shrooms now!

DyneWulf

All good stuff too ;3 THank you! I've already added a day counter to throw in on the next update to it.

DyneWulf

I've had someone else ask that, but I'm actually not sure if I can or not. I'll be looking into it though!

DyneWulf

We have some experimenting we're doing with the navigation, and I think it'll make things easier for sure! All the other information is great to hear too! It definitely lines up with what we want to try and do. Thank you!

DyneWulf

I thought the arrows were fine, it let me explore a screen before choosing to move to the next one. I don't think an inventory is a big deal, but maybe just something where when you go to the exit screen it just displays a list of everything would be fine I think. I don't like the idea of automatically generated maps, I like having to figure out and think about where you're going, although maybe a time mechanism based on more than just how many screens you've been through - perhaps a way to sit and pass time? I had some moments where I had to do something during the day and I had to go back and forth over and over until the the night passed.

Gallery option is definitely on the list of "To-do". I want to add that and maybe a "Replay" bit for going through certain scenes again.

DyneWulf

I have found my time to relax, thank you! :D

DyneWulf

I just really enjoyed it all of it. Mr. Orc is super cute and sexy. Super husband material. I've replayed his scenes a few times, would love a gallery option after completing it all to go back to some of those again!

Gaffgarion

This is a wonderful game with great replayability! Excellent to everyone putting it together and can’t wait to see more! Hopefully an option added to stay in town with Lozran forever and be cute husbands lol

Inventory doesn't need to manageable at all, I think. Just a list of what you've got might be useful. Like, it took me a while to figure out that some of the forest mushrooms weren't the "Forest Mushroom" that Lozran wanted; if it showed up in the inventory as "Smallcap Mushroom" or something instead, that might have helped.

Regonoreth

Could the arrow keyboard keys be a workable option for navigating the world?

Feuerfuß

I personally already expressed how much I adore everything in this game. If anything would make it "useful for strategy" is a day counter like in EA, but just to keep note when and where to be. About the rest... For me is great, it have the perfect retro-romantic aura I found in few other games

Tore91

I really hope you make this like a series or expand the game. One of the most enjoyable games in a long time and I loved all the characters. Scenes were hot btw. *Grr

Eternalityx

Amazing game. Graphics, sounds wirked perfectly with the setting. Your story and characters always have that something that makes them really fun. I like the arrows where they are and the inventory thing you could just do images of the items the player has on the opposite side of the arrows on the black.

Eternalityx

I think putting the navigation arrows on the actual screen is a good idea. It might make navigating easier as it’d be easier to tell where you’re going. Early on before I got used to where everything was I sometimes accidentally went back the way I’d come without realizing it, so this could clear that up. Also I don’t think a map is a good idea. The whole game revolves around searching for Gerald and clues and I think having a map would take away from that by making some parts easy (such as finding the cave or making your way through the maze). Also trying to remember where everything was was part of the fun for me. For the inventory, if that’s difficult to implement you could perhaps make a quest screen, that shows the active quests you’re working on and the items needed for each and if you’ve found them yet or not. But yeah great game, I finally got around to playing it yesterday and it was so much fun! I loved that you put yourself and Cornelius in there as well and that you could put the dog too :)

BiffTheMoose

Don't work to hard Dyne. Don't forget to relax.
