Update 1.101 - Harold's Finale

Well guys, it's finally here. It's been a whole month in the works, so... what's going on?
- Harold Day 35 - The last day planned for his update. It's just meant to be a fun, chill day with your Bear, and it'll have one of two outcomes, depending on if you're on his BEST or NEUTRAL ending. Either way, it's still a fun day with the bear. (For those of you that went with a Sonnet... CaptainGerBear wrote what you guys will see!)
- FOR BEST RESULTS, PLAY HIS ROUTE START TO FINISH! It isn't required, but I did add a new variable for Day 27 that'll alter some dialog on Day 35, and there were some tweaks made to Day 34 (that might have still been causing crashes for some people). I played it from the beginning to the end and didn't encounter any crashes myself.
- Please do not ask about Richard at all on this post. This post is for Harold, not Richard. You'll find out more about him another day.
- Sprites replaced! Thank you SO FREAKING MUCH to Medwyn for helping me with replacing the old sprites and updating the dialog boxes. All of the sprites should be replaced (aside from a couple that don't have updated sprites just yet). With that said, I do plan on removing the legacy gallery in the future and just having the sprites be something people can view outside the main game.
- Silly Dyne didn't update the change log. He was too excited to make his builds.
- Note about the Android build. I updated Ren'Py (and that never bodes well for android users!), and now there is what is considered a "Universal" build. Hopefully it works? It also claims to work on Chromebooks, but I can't verify that. If someone else can, please let me know!
- Update how I'll be naming the files. Regonoreth made a good point to me, and I'm kinda dumb sometimes. Instead of 1.001, I should have done 1.100. So, I'll go based on that.
- Please do not post errors on this post either. If it's a dire error that IS NOT CORRECTED by a full route restart, please contact me VIA DM.

- Thanks so much for the continued support with typos and other errors with the Google Docs page. It helps tremendously! Don't forget, you can post image errors there too (just keep in mind, the transition we are going through). Please keep errors posted to the reports page and not in comments/messages to me~
As a final note, I want to thank you all for the amazing support. This is such a milestone for the project. Harold was a huge reason for the start of the project, and his route is completed. He's like, the poster boy for me. It brings me a lot of joy (and some sadness) that his route is completed. But, just because his route is over, that doesn't mean his story is. I still have more plans for our Bear, so we'll just have to see how that plays out in the future!

Haha, thank you so much! I'm glad to see so much positive stuff come out of your experience with Harold and the visual novel in general ;3 I know folks are thirsting HARD for a Richard/Harold/MC threesome, but that's something that would be left for an "extra" scene once you finish BOTH routes one their best endings ;3 Something hidden somewhere in there. The last day really had to be all about Harold! Annnd that's weird... It might have been due to some of the code changes, so I'll double check all of that to make sure!

Loved every minute of it and the ending was as touching as expected. Can't wait to play the whole route again once it's 100% finished. I remember first time I saw Harold. I was browsing for hot "human" bear pictures on IG and suddenly his picture popped up. The guy who posted it said "just play this game, you'll thank me later" and oh boy he was so right! Half and hour later I had a huge crush on Harold and was so in love with the world and characters of EA. Thanks to Harold I discovered visual novels. Now I love them and play almost daily. I have even started to develop a visual novel of my own. And what's more important... Papa Bear made me realize I was into furries LOL so... thank you Harold and thank you Dyne for creating such a lovable, complex and well written character. (sobbing intensifies) Can't wait to see what else you have in mind for him. Oh... and almost forgot... thank you Dyne for NOT including a threesome with Richard during Harold's last day. I know, there must be something wrong with me. Perhaps I should go see a doctor. But the way last day was written was so special, it was supposed to be something intimate between Harold and the MC so at least for me, there was no place for threesome, orgies, or whatever. I was expecting it to be all about Harold and it didn't dissapointed me at all. And I think Maria and Richard are so cute together anyway. P.D. I started playing the final day at the beggining of day 34 and for some strange reason, even though I told Harold I loved him every chance I had during his route, it ended up showing me the bad ending... which I really didn't wanted to see LOL

I feel there could be so much more but all things must end eventually, except for the love for Harold, it was a great ending full of happiness. This vn was my intro to adult VNs and i am so glad i found it. I love it not only for the adult content but the characters and story as well. I am invested in seeing this through to the end. Thank you so much for making this VN. You and the others who worked on this project are awesome.

Then i started on the public demo and it just wasnt enough for me to be that far behind on where the stories were at. I absolutely love the story and the work that you put into making them as great as they are. Thank You so much.
2020-06-07 05:43:31 +0000 UTCdid take a few day to see the last day since i played harold's route from start to finnish again but it was so worth it, got a refresh on his route and at the end i am sitting here crying since i got so happy for him. even if it is just a game but your story telling carry a lot of emotions and easy to get drawn in to it and that is why i really did fall in love with this game so i can't wait to se what more you have cooked up for the other lovely guys. is a nice break from how shitty real life can be sometimes :)

This work you've done has been amazing, always providing me with something to look forward too when it seemed as if nothing ever would be. Initially I thought this VN would be another cheesy porno, but I've genuinely fallen in love with your deep, rounded characters that you so expertly craft into a living world. I'm glad that the neutral ending is still just as sweet, and doesn't feel like any kind of a bad ending. The best ending was so damn adorable! These stories have been amazing to walk through, and this ending has made me that much more excited to see what's in store for Darius, Spencer, and the others. This has been an amazing journey to take with all these characters in the past couple days, and I'm looking forward to everything else you have in store. Keep up the awesome work!

Thank you for the amazing journey, it's a credit to your writing that I've kept going this long. Nothing against you're characters or the novel, but I've always related to Harolds route on a personal level, that every update seemed to reflect something in my life at the time, and I couldn't stay away, as much as the parallel to my own situations hurt, the last hour of working my way through the ending, and the emotional payoff, has been worth the effort. Thank you so much for writing this TT_TT <3 And I also look forward to what's next... The teasing with Richard will be worth it, I'm sure ;)

And honestly, I'm pretty sure I ended up with the perfect ending, because it was so sweet. If there's one thing I've loved about this game, it's that level of adorable sweet love between the characters. I can't tell you how many times I've genuinely felt the raw emotion of what your character must go through. This game is written ASTOUNDINGLY well, and I've loved every bit of it. Looking forward to the other endings! Speaking of, is there any way to tell if you got the neutral or best ending? Thanks so much!
