Thanks and Information!

First of all, thank you all for any feedback you've given on Embay Circle.  I know text adventures aren't everyone's thing (I learned they aren't really mine either, haha), but I appreciate you all giving it a shot nonetheless!  I do want to release an official guide for it later on when I run another update to finish adding in any art assets and to fix some issues that have popped up.

More thanks to everyone that filled out the Endless Bounty survey! It gave me a ton of great information, so thank you to everyone that took the time to fill it out.  This kind of stuff really helps out, so thank you again.

Speaking of feedback, what kind of stuff would you guys want to see in a game with adult content?  Do you have a style you'd like to see it in (like RPG, Metroidvania, classic Zelda-like)?  A particular setting (fantasy, sci-fi, etc.)?  Things like this.  I see a fair number of hentai games out there, but they tend to shy away from my preferred kind of content (you know, gay, furry, bara...).  What kind of stuff would you folks like to see? Always looking ahead to see what I might want to try next.

Lastly, I added a new piece of merch to my store! We have the 2" Bear Harold soft enamel pin for just $15 listed.  (Remember, top tier supporters also get 20% off that!).  The original design was done by @lemusuniverse, and @TheChocoFox prepared it to be printed for me.

Anyhow, just again, thank you all so much for sticking around and for your support!  The year is quickly coming to an end, and some big stuff will be happening next year.  Thank you all!

Just finished Harold's route right now and wow, I loved this route so much and Harold as a character is so relatable in many aspects. Question, at the end it says that it may be the end of the route but not of his story, will you be updating the character's stories post route ending? I feel greedy for saying I haven't had enough of Coach Grifter in my life lol

Christopher Suli

Definitely a success! Is there any reason why the glamour ending failed though?

LLVPandaSevron

*hype intensifies*

Alexander Lukas Bryant

I haven't seen that one, so I'll have to take a look at it. I was playing some adult games to get ideas, haha! All those kinds of things just... go so well together. Whatever I do will certainly have all of it that I can fit in there x3

DyneWulf

Well, about that.... I have plans for that world and idea~

DyneWulf

Haha, well thank you! I'm glad you did have fun with it. I'll take that as a success for sure!

DyneWulf

I think people will be *satisfied* as long as the game aint click-intensive.

AndovarEdoras

I may not have gotten the perfect glamour ending (even after making 2) but I still got the very spicy scenes with the 4 characters. Text certainly isn't my style but doing those scenes in text form...I had more fun than I'd like to admit. It wasn't all that bad. Just one lvl below interactive scenes in being immersive. I'll admit I didn't hate playing and it was more fun than I thought I'd have, so great work πŸ‘πŸ₯°πŸ‘

LLVPandaSevron

How about turning Coach's book into an rpg?

Alexander Lukas Bryant

You did a great job with Embay Circle, as usual. It's just that... oh well, it seems that I don't enjoy text adventures as much as I used to do when I was a kid. I kinda lost my patience a couple of times, but I enjoyed the game anyway. A classic RPG, Zelda style, but with adult content, would be amazing! Have you ever played Knights of Xentar? Something like that would be nice, but without all the boobies and damsels in distress. They can easily be replaced with hunky guys, fur and sausages (wink wink). Fantasy and contemporary settings, with a twist of mistery or horror, are the best settings for me. I guess I'm not too much into sci-fi stuff. Gay stuff? Bara? Furries? Demons? Dragons? Yes please. Plenty. Also, I tend to enjoy much more games in which humans and furries/scalies live together. Diversity is fun! That's why I love EA so much. Oh and BTW, nice Harold pin. Now, how about a Harold plushie? ;)

Aldolfooo

I really do like character customization, and if planned accordingly... it wouldn't be too much harder! I want to do that in the future for sure. Thank you a bunch too!

DyneWulf

Thank you so much! I'm really glad to hear that

DyneWulf

Thank you! I'm gonna try to scratch this itch for a bunch of people it seems ;3

DyneWulf

Gonna do what I can!

DyneWulf

All great info to hear, so thank you! I'm a big fan of human x furry myself, so I can appreciate that. (Devin's face dooooes appear during the Dragon's scene if you do the right thing for him ;3)

DyneWulf

Mmmm, fantasy beef is 100% a mood

DyneWulf

I really don't see a lot of Sci-fi either. I'd like to try my hand at it, but I have a hard time finding inspiration there. I might have to try diving into that again... Oh yeah, deciding how much focus to put on that can be tricky! I personally like the balance of smut I tend to work with in my projects, but sometimes... I just want it to be all about that, haha.

DyneWulf

I really try to focus on the story/characters above everything else. I just gotta find that balance with mechanics x3

DyneWulf

Good info to have, thanks!

DyneWulf

I love this pin so much, the cool Bear Harold. Trying something new and experimenting is always so exciting, fantastic genre is not a bad idea for a new project!

VitAnyaNaked

Yes I did. It's pretty good. I did hope that the MC could be a bit hunkier tho, but it's just me

MaelstromGrim

Have you tried human Cargo its just a bara Vn, not bad, Its on itch.io, Multiple routes.

Peterwolf

I have some preferences but overall any genre is fine, as long as the game itself involves predominantly bara content, I'm good. Comparing to Hentai games out there for the straight guys, Bara games are just, in general, lacking in sheer number. (Not sure about Yaoi tho) They have various companies out there making these games that there could be a new one every few weeks, whereas bara game devs are largely, if not all, indie. The only "company" I know of making bara game is UGCP, but their works are never... translated :(

MaelstromGrim

I would really really look forward to a Metroidvania genre bara game (I'm not really familiar with the terminology I had to look it up lol hopefully I used it right). The only bara game of this kind (I think?) I've played before is Strange Flesh. I really liked the experience but I haven't seen another game like that since then. Most other bara games I have played that involve combat are just turn-based. Bara RPGs I have played and enjoyed are the two made by Konohanaya (End of dream), I know there are more out there I haven't played tho, certainly don't mind seeing more out there. As for settings, I'd love to see a bara sci-fi, like a sci-fi with ME3 kind of storyline that is rather serious instead of comic-y. Fantasy wise I feel like there are already some good works in the making (I'm looking forward to Eldet by Marccus and BlackHoopS by Tigari), but, the more the merrier.

MaelstromGrim

Great work!

My favourite genres would probably be management and roguelike games, and roguelike I only saw in Lusty Labrinth, but it got a little too repetitive, as far as settings go, I only don't like Cyberpunk (too much neon) the rest is more dependable on how you execute the game and not a major factor on why would I play it.

Nicolas E. Gramkow

A Gay Furry Sci-Fi VN or RPG would be great! It's a really rare genre in VN or RPG especially in gay furry version. I really like when they mix the bara and furry genre.

Husky Lee

A Gay Furry RPG would be really awesome!~ I'm honestly having trouble with Embay Circle xD its not something I'm very good at.

Gaffgarion

As much as I'd like to see RPG stuff, and Lusty Desires does that pretty good, I think it does tend to get a bit token if you're really looking for the furry bara (and i know i'd prioritize that). Uncommon breed is going that route too on all counts, gay, furry, bara RPG and they're getting challenged with balancing skills and the combat mechanics so it's definitely an extra horse to manage if you're already full on the train. I'd personally go for normal day and fantasy VNs just cause i tend towards those genres and normal day stuff allows you to play around with different concepts and possibilities (like you already do in ExCA) that makes the game unique and fun without turning mechanics token and repetitive. Like a slice of chocolate cake is good but when you have 3 to scarf down... you kinda need a break But for the sake of a potential future project, I think a Metroidvania type could be really fun to do! Like Bloodstained: RotN which has full drawn characters and interactions. More game game less smutty game :3 Keep up the great work though!! Embay circle was a blast :) (even if I had to reattach my eyes a few times from them blowing out from frustration)

Wuffings

Ok now guys you have to seriously consider becoming patreons and help out Dyne with his amazing work.

Peterwolf

This so reminds me of the quest series like King's quest, Rouge quest, and Space quest. Like to figure out you can hide in that bush but not the other same looking ones in the background or to put a glowing rock in your mouth to light a dark cave or not to kiss an alien unless you want a chest baby.

Mestev

Believe it or not EA was the very first Furry game I ever Played and I have the honor of Dyne's Work being the start of My Furry Bara Adiction. Actually any time i'm on Itch.io I only click on Gay furry Barra, I think I have all of them, Pity some have fallen by the wayside and aren't updated anymore or vary rearly. Sometimes I want Eye candy and just to read and lay back and mouse click, Sometimes I want to type , sometimes I want to think and solve brain teasers, sometimes I want think about the story line. and sometimes I just want to click the brains out of some Muscly bara furry hunk.

Peterwolf

I'm here for the Gay furry smut. LOL

Peterwolf

It would be cool to have a legitimate 2D RPG with gay furry elements instead of just a smut game with a couple of RPG elements thrown in.

Cam

First off the line. Gay content definitely, Hunky Bara is a must, Furry, Fantasy also a must. In other words BIG Muscly Brutish, Wolves , Bears, Orcs, Ogres, Rhinos, Elephants, Dogs, Anything is a go for me. Furry on Furry , Furry on Scaly, Scaly on furry the Occasional human chucked in Not a problem Plenty of human on human stuff out there , not really a go for me. Story line is also a must, I liked your style on Embay Circle I think you did an excellent job In so short a time, Guide wise Im not fussed about, these types of games are meant to be thought over and if it takes you a year to complete ,so be it. I started with text based adventure games , like Zork and Myst was just eye candy at the time ,to name a few I think I have about 50 of the damn things. Just saying people want a quick fix these days and want to finish the game right away, where is the fun in that, they are supposed to be a brain teaser not a point and shoot. The only problem I had with it was maybe instead of typing west you could also have accepted W etc. And after the reading portion if it was an automatic return, so you could type without having to hit return, Enter to continue to type again. Other than that . Great job. Style wise not that fussed I will play , watch, read anything after all it is your Imagination that you're putting out there, So whatever you're willing to share I'm all for it.

Peterwolf

Love me some rpgs. Character customization is a plus but I understand that’s a toooooon more work. Metroidvania style sounds really interesting, but I’m even more interested in a Castlevania/Bloodborne/Gothic Fantasy setting in general. Thanks for all the hard work dude, been loving everything you’ve put out.

Taylor Sprayberry

also sorry didn't respond to the question, an RPG or Metroidvania could be cool to see

Leafside

i didnt had a problem with the puzzles or such, the game itself was pretty fun there were some puzzles that i was actually even trying to big brain them to much like the box one, literaly my only thing was that sometimes i just didnt know what to writte but i enjoyed

Leafside

Same more gay RPGs be nice setting in fantasy/ Sci-Fi world types. I'm not much into the full furry aspects (furry on furry) but I been finding a lot of things here that I do not see much in regular gay games. Yeah definitely scratches that itch on multiple fronts. So keep up the great work and looking forward to see what you create next.

Mestev

All good things that I can get behind!

DyneWulf

Yeah, I'd definitely enjoy more gay, furry RPGs. It's an itch I don't get scratched often enough.

Frost Knight

RPGs are more of my speed, specifically high fantasy RPGs. But I could go for Scifi or Urban Fantasy. Content wise I'm more into Human on Human as well as Human on other Furry/orc/elf/dwarve/werewolf or in case Endless Bounty enjoyed teh Werewolf on Orc. One of the reason why I like Extracurricular Activity, However I have never really been into Pure Furry ie Furry x Furry. One thing that did bug me was that in Embay Circle is that you gave the MC a face but none of the CGI showed Devin, with either the werewolf, minotaur or dragon. Thats another preference of mine is to have the MC to have a face or image, instead of all this shadows or silhouettes And one last thing if you do do another Text based adventure adding a hint button or command would probably help cut down on the frustration. IE the Door has a flame symbol on it, maybe a lighter or a torch could help get us through. Again these are just my preference, I do like your work, so what every you do next I will probably support it. Thanks again.

Alex

1) yes for the guide! I don't plan to spoiler me anything untill I did all the funny try & guess, but for the time when I'll back in an higher tier, a guide will be a huge bless to check!! 2) honestly I don't know what to ask you, your writing and characters feed me with all the beef I crave I would say, keep to feed me with fantasy beef!

Tore91

I've been doing a sort of deep dive into R18 (furry) games this year. Genre-wise the thing that feels more interesting in my opinion is when creators put a spin on tropey/over-used game styles in adult games (like a certain furry RPG/Puzzle game). In regards to setting, sci-fi is clearly on the losing side of representation. Nothing wrong with fantasy or slice-of-life, but it could be interesting to see some diversity. Also deciding how much of a game IS adult content and commiting to that decision has proven to be a harbinger of quality in the games I observed.

Matydos

I love to find RPG with sci - fi and fantasy having furry and gay on it even if it playing as puzzle games. But the most important part is the story even if the game mechanics are good it will lose a lot if the story were badly done.

I mostly like and play rpg games, and on this genre you mostly find Fantasy ones mostly. My favorite would be if i find games similar to BOF 3 and 4, but do love classic ones like ff, shadow hearts, ect. ect. As for that I too love it when the games have an MC creation, with several details. But won't lie that the games with specific MC are nice too, like Zelda style, or like endless bounty too.

Xeralex

I prefer furry and fantasy content but I would love to see something with a bit of character customization
