Just saw the update, happy the meds are working and pretty good you've been able to get someone out so quick to start ceiling repairs. But man just imagining the very deep bruise you'll have is making me wince, hurray for pain meds.

Glad you are doing ok. You probably bruised/broke a rib or two and it is going to take a couple of months for the pain to subside completely. Just try not to take a deep breath without taking several more shallow breaths first, taking a little more air each time. It will make the pain be much less.

You may be allowed to not pay your medical bills if the hospital you go to has any charity or funds. Most people who make under a certain amount of income are eligible and information regarding this should be present on the hospitals website. You should have a look at see if that’s something offered near you, better safe than sorry! Good luck and swift recovery!!!
