Species swap part 17
Added 2021-09-20 17:13:45 +0000 UTCFor Kit. From Ivysaur to dragon. This is the redesign I spent the most time on on and off brainstorming on how to make Ivysaur a dragon with a somewhat similar build but also not look like Ivysaur minus the greens. I went through a number of drafts, trying hard to include all the elements in some way and one thing I learned or I’m reminded of is to not force it. I really tried to design a hydra because of the vines, thinking it’d look cool but all the tries I did, none looked decent enough for me. That is until I stopped trying to make the vines look like heads but twin tails instead, like a scorpion. Quite a venomous dragon route. Of course the green had to go and not be used on the frills, less I mistake them for grass.
