Sometimes the best designs are always the simple ones.
So I was sketching multiple bunnies when I liked the first image’s general shape. It used to have a fringe but I googled bunny colors and patterns and saw this one bunny with white fur and a brown “mask”, I thought it’d look great. I then ditched the fringe for a hairstyle that’s just as stylish but won’t cover the mask since it’s something I like to show more expressions and exaggerations on. I actually had to edit out the fringe for the new hairstyle like halfway through these sketches because the more I drew the fringe, the more I realize just how much it’s dictating how the bunny looks great or not when it shouldn’t be. Just because the first sketch looked great, doesn’t mean it’ll be the best.
I’m torn between the narrow arm to wide paws design or the one with visible wrists. The former is cute but the later is a lot more expressive and easier to draw poses with. Maybe I’ll pick the later since uhh… I already have Zipper and Aedis have the former design for the arms.
I don’t know what to name her yet… and yes, it’s a her this time!
