Total Warmaidens: Long War Features

Good news! The long war version of Total Warmaidens will come on this Friday. It includes not only Total Warmaidens but also other of my mods like Mixu, Valkyrie Legions, and Mortal Expansion.

In short, this version will make the battle more "epic" and "logical" than the original game. But be aware: this mod will cause performance issues as the army size is 40% 50% larger than in the original game. A higher-budget PC means a better gaming experience.

Total Warmaidens: Long War Features

Good news! The long war version of Total Warmaidens will come on this Friday. It includes not only Total Warmaidens but also other of my mods like Mixu, Valkyrie Legions, and Mortal Expansion.

In short, this version will make the battle more "epic" and "logical" than the original game. But be aware: this mod will cause performance issues as the army size is 40% 50% larger than in the original game. A higher-budget PC means a better gaming experience.

Main Features:

1. Bigger battle size! There will be 50% more army size for melee units and 25% to 40% larger size for ranged units. Single-entity remains the same as they are already too op.

2. Less OP magic (still very OP after being nerfed). Units (none-single-entities) with heavy armor have more magic resistance. 30/60/80/100/120 armor can get 10%/15%/20%/25%/35% magic resistance.

3. Higher Melee damage. All melee weapons -1s attack interval and have a 25% damage bonus.

4. Some elite units rework. Elite units like Swordmaster, Chaos Knights, and Dragon Princess now have smaller army sizes but stronger stat and melee damage. They should be more useful than the original game.

5. More bloody and deadly combat. The basic leadership bonus is increased to 8, and lords can give extra leadership bonuses. This can make units harder to break.

6. Most heavy horse cavalry, like Empire knights, Silver Helms, and Blood knights, now have a "Glorious Charge," which can distinguish them from infantry charges. And knights with lance have anti-large bonus now.

7. Weight adjustment. Some unit's weights are no longer ridiculous. Units like Dragon Guards (lighter than Hef Spearman) and Black Orcs (lighter than Big'uns) will be heavier than they used to be.

8. More useful race passive skills. Most dark elves units have an extra passive skill, the "Hellbalde."

9. HP adjustment for some units. For example, it feels strange that basic elf units have lower HP than humans, as they are faster and healthier than humans in lore.

10. Stronger melee stats for ranged units. Although ranged units are not melee experts in most cases, they still deserve better melee stats.

11. Two-handed spear units now have a better melee attack and weapon damage than the shield version, though their defense is lower.

12. More deadly and realistic gunpowder weapons have higher damage but a slower fire rate. Rifles can break shields, and shotguns can slow the enemy down. Most rifle units are hybrid now, with larger army sizes and bayonets for melee combat.

13. Military technology is comprehensively enhanced. Are you jealous of Cathay's awesome technology bonus? Now, most races' troops can experience technology bonuses similar to those of Cathay. That means military technology will be more crucial, and low-tier units will be much stronger with upgrades.

14. Better veteran units. Units can get more bonuses from the level upgrades.

15. Other small adjustment.
