I arranged two storylines for God mode, this one and one without the cracks in the 4th wall. It was more experimental for me, and I mainly released it along with the public release because Patreon feedback alone wasn’t enough.

So I held polls on my page on the forum and on my Tumblr page to ask if I should leave this route, or implement the sub-route for GM MC without any fourth wall cracks.

After 24 hours I took a look at both polls asking which version should stay, and although the side voting for the version without fourth wall breaks was way higher, 112 people still voted to keep the fourth wall breaks.

So I decided while reading how many comments were making requests about making it into a choice, that they were right. I’ve made it so that you choose what version of god mode you want to play, the one with fourth wall breaks or the one that’s more immersive without fourth wall breaks.

This seemed like the best way to do things for me since my entire goal for making this IF and the reason it is meant to be so branched out is that I’m trying to create an IF that is centered on choices, choices the players want to make. So keeping it free for people to choose just seemed logical to me.
