Dragons & Dragons (part 4)

It has been a while since the last 4 but here’s another!

For the first one for Ourobotter, I was asked for a western dragon but because the OG design is an otter, I took inspiration from that and sea serpents so it has a long body that’s almost in every eastern dragon designs. But I did my best to not make it so and make it look like an aquatic dragon. The wings were added to make it less otter.

Second one for Zeelo, the proportions I took from the OG design was the bigger limbs and tail from a slimmer body which makes more sense in a western dragon now for me. Nothing too drastic except for the tail. I almost wanted to it look like a racoon tail shape with spikes again but I wanted to try something a bit different. And hey, now it kinda looks like something that could help with lift off.

Third one for Khaber. I initially tried to do a western dragon or like a wyvern because OG already is like a bat. It’s supposed to be obvious  but I just couldn’t feel satisfied with the shapes until I fooled around and got to draw another eastern dragon but with wings. The hair that goes down to a mane in the OG made me separate them into crown-like horns and mane instead for that extra dragonic look.

Fourth one for Aweshock, there were a lot to choose from and this is definitely not the first character I choose but the one that picked in the end. I haven’t done a standing eastern dragon in a while so this is what I did. I actually changed the tail a lot from a long raccoon tail to a more dragon one that actually becomes like a opposite to the head and neck colors. Head and neck has red main and dark purple tuffs and the tail has dark purple main with red tuffs. Both having yellow accents. I removed one yellow ring from the legs so it’s not as crowded since it’s shorter than the OG design.
