PKM || XY starters redraw

2013 - 2024

I drew the 2013 one all the way back when the starters were first revealed. And when I learned we are getting Legends ZA, while I know we won’t likely get the these three as starters, it made me reminisce. Froakie here got the biggest change, it had odd to draw his shape back then, it kinda is still now. And I had to change the pose because it just didn’t flow and balance right to me anymore. If I didn’t have its right hand below, it wouldn’t look balanced with Chespin’s tail on the left. Putting his hand the way the OG did also conflicts with Fennekin’s ear. And lastly, if I lowered Froakie, it wouldn’t look as nice not in line with Chespin’s head anymore. Some thoughts.
