Added 2014-07-16 01:43:17 +0000 UTCSo yeah got my new Wacom tablet the other day. ive been wanting one of these for days. thanks to all our patrons I could get the Cintiq 13HD. Time to start giving back. this thing is awesome! a little awkward for me now but in 6 months I be able to make magic with it. ugh Ive been such a waste of paper, the trees :(... so yeah the pics and pages of Skyrift are starting to pile up in that blue folder. but DAT RED FOLDER...all kinds of cool pin ups in there i want to get around to. The last two X rated Sky rift promos are incoming!

Aah, finally :D Your battlestation !!! I know it's kind of weird to draw on a smooth surface. You should try getting one of these matte screen protectors. Preferably for touch screens. Maybe they help getting used to the less grainy consistency of your new baby ;)

2014-07-16 11:00:25 +0000 UTCwell no its a little different. cause with paper there's a resistance, and texture. so you strokes feel more controlled. on the scree of this thing is smooth, there's no resistance so your lines can be a little sloppy. the best way i could explain it is " try drawing something on paper through a thin sheet of glass" it feels strange now but i can tell it's something i can get use to. I simply could not use those touch pad wacoms. I need to see what im drawing. this thing is expensive but now i no longer need to buy tons of paper lol. and tracing is starting to feel faster. when i get good enough my sketching and my tracing will be the same step, saving me a lot of time.
