I would have hated it if I didn't see a natural progression of things and there were just visible time cuts everywhere. Other anime do that and it feels rushed and empty. Maybe 5-10 at the very most. Regardless, I loved this arc as much as I loved every other.

Most Japanese humor/aesthetics like poetry is based on puns and wordplay. That’s all that was when they said that lol People shouldn’t give you shit for not being a more empathetic person Heat. Everyone’s built differently. It seems an unrealistic expectation when most young men are brought up having the sensitivity literally beaten out of them and being taught to repress their emotions until they calcify into stones or tumors. It’s actually part of your guys great dynamic, Hus can be very emotionally intelligent which helps to pick up the slack while you go crazy with the analyses and logic. But even he can be insensitive at times saying shit like “man bump the merry.” It just goes to show, nobody’s perfect. Idk why Mfers expect yall to be, honestly. If anything, it’s a surprise that the fans can be as empathetic toward characters as they sometimes are, considering shonen fans have not historically been known for their emotional intelligence or lateral thinking, which I say as someone who grew up watching mostly all the legendary ones too (dbz, YYH, FMA, etc) Sad to see Wano go. Yet another great example of how Oda’s worldbuilding is so good that you can frame an entire show in this one place, and most mangaka would do just that. I remember when my homie watched zou and his only complaint was that it ended too quickly. He just wanted to stay there lol Fun fact, Wano is not just the longest One Piece arc, but the longest anime arc in the history of the medium, running for more than 4 years and surpassing the 200 episode mark

Looking forward to seeing y'all hit the next arc soon enough, always a joy watching these
