... relation level and favor points - welcome RELATION!
As already announced, the favor points are now replaced by "relation" and the relation levels have disappeared. Story chapters and tasks are now automatically unlocked (and colored green) when you have obtained the required relation. As a result, the in-game menu is now much clearer. I have attached you a screenshot of the new in-game menu.
As the game now contains a timed progression throughout the day, tasks and story chapters can only be started at a certain time of day and will also "consume" time. Currently, each story chapter and task can only be played once a day, which automatically reduces the current grinding. If you want time to pass more quickly, you can interact with a new hourglass icon to relax and speed up time a little.
There is also a new notification mechanism. When you gain relation with Hannah, the message is now displayed with a nice sliding animation in the top left corner (see second screenshot). I developed this new mechanism to work with the upcoming and already announced RPG elements that will follow one day.
Overall, I'm making very good progress on expanding and restructuring the game mechanics. Most of the time I've been able to work on the game in the last few days has gone into programming, so there's not more new to show at the moment. However, this kind of work is of course essential to extend the game. I have also managed to extend the program code so that another character can be added in a reasonable amount of time.
