I don't know exactly how this anti-virus software sets its rules, but as far as I know this is an issue with a lot of indie games that use more complex engines. I guess it's because the itch version is older and already known to several antivirus programs. But I sometimes have the feeling that the anti-virus alert occurs quite randomly cause it even depends on which file-hoster you download the exact same file from. As long as you download from links that I provide, you are safe and can ignore the warning. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about that with a reasonable amount of time. Anything else would be very expensive (certificate) and very time-consuming. And with this time, I prefer to develop the game further.
