thank for the feed back. from what i can tell so far. at least for the visual novel sense, the work load for animations wont be much different for what i do now in terms of animating a one min short. i basically have to animate, one or two "Idles" and then 4-5 looping sex animations. the hardest part about animating videos are really transitions and dialog sequences...doing them from visual novel is actually EASIER, cause i can just use text to do it. I don't have to do a bunch of lipsync and other boring actions. but this is just from what i can tell so far.

It will be sort of like that though, mostly you pick a position or approach to the challenge, you'll have plenty of time to just enjoy the loops and depending on what you choose gives you a fail or succeed result. at least for this first game anyway. in visual novel style.

While I'd be excited for more Ophelia content, I dont think that games are a good way to go for it. Animations are already quite labor intensive, but they work well as a story telling medium for the kind of content she is in, while VNs bring little extra for it. Plus, with all due respect, it's been five years since you introduced Ophelia, and how many of her projects have been finished? Maybe let's see some works with her actually done before starting another massive one. You wouldn't be the first artist to disappear into a game developing project that never gets finished.

This is an interesting direction to take the series. Could actually be quite fun if it was fully VO and with animated scenes if possible.

I honestly wonder if it might be better for you to simply offer to do art and animations for someone else's h-game as a way to test the waters. I'm sure there are plenty of devs on Patreon and Newgrounds who would be thrilled to collaborate with an artist and animator of your calibre. It could also be a good way to increase your exposure. But if you want to take a crack at it yourself, by all means, go for it. I enjoy h-games.

It's a difficult road if your planing to start from VN to a Open World game one day. I have had experience in developing a game before and it takes certain structures that it won't translate so easily.

Not really, if I want to play a game I game and if I want to fap I fap. Porn games usually wnd up like hybrids that satisfy neither, unless its like Zone-games that are more like pick your scenes type game.
