We started our podcast with the first season, but for completeness' sake, we need to watch ALL of The Simpsons. And so we travel back to 1987 to watch the very first Simpsons cartoons ever as the shorts that aired on The Tracey Ullman Show. They're crude, but we do our best to put the shorts into proper context with some behind-the-scenes information on those early toons. So sit down with us and enjoy!

I’m so glad you guys made the MST3K comparison! Sure enough, those KTMA episodes are rough to watch since they’re not up to the high standard of the series in its prime, but for historical purposes and to see the show come together, it’s very interesting. I stumbled upon Tracy Ullman reruns on Lifetime during summer vacation and not only did I enjoy a look at the first Simpsons material, I really grew to appreciate the Tracy Ullman Show as well.
