For most of my childhood, we were rarely able to get Fox on our TV since we lived out in the middle of nowhere. I missed most of the Simpsons until we got cable and I watched them in syndication. However, I somehow saw most of the Fox season of The Critic when it first aired - must have been an especially good few months of reception.

No wonder Alice sprays him! He looks like a creeper! There's several Youtube Poops (here I go with the ytp references again) based on this episode and they all make fun of that scene.
