I explain to the person who I was staying with about how most people are probably familiar with him threw this joke. She was a bit defensive about the Simpsons making fun of him until I explained the joke proper. Also when I got to Chile the episode that came out that week on TS was "Another Simpsons Clip Show" which I should have taken as an omen about how that trip to visit her was going to go.
