Listen in as we dish about all of the talented friends we recorded with over the past week, and give you our rundown of Universal Studios Hollywood's Simpsons Land, as well as The Simpsons Ride! I left LA the day you guys flew in. We were within a few miles of each other for a few hours. Neat.

2018-07-17 23:07:30 +0000 UTCHey we were in LA during the same week. The only touristy bit for me was the La Brea Tar Pits, which is the top-rated tar 'n bones experience in the LA area. Worth checking out! I also recently went on a whirlwind nerd trip to see both Orlando's and LA's Universal parks in the span of three days. I guess the Disney news stirred up some panicky part of me that knows ours is a short existence and theme park rides are beautiful fiberglass dreamlands. It was cool to see how both parks approached that area but Universal Hollywood's is definitely the larger and more picturesque. Glad you guys got to check out and comment on your experiences.

2018-07-17 21:04:24 +0000 UTCMy parents' shared dream since honeymooning in Disney World in 1982 was to one day take the whole family once they have grandkids - and they are this January. Since my parents are shelling out for the thing, I think I'm going to spring for Universal admission with the swanky fast pass thing just so I can see Simpson's World. I did Universal about 6 years ago but was just there because my wife wanted to see Harry Potter and Simpson's World was not a thing. I will eat the the sloppiest burger Krusty offers, drink the expensive crappy beer, and indulge in a colossal donut because that's what the cosmos demand of me and it will be awesome! And I'm going to leave my kids with my parents which will make it way more enjoyable.
