Talking Simpsons - Bart After Dark With Kate Leth

This week we're joined by writer/illustrator/Twitter badass Kate Leth, a perfect guest as we delve deep into the most sex positive episode of The Simpsons ever. While Marge and Lisa wash rocks, Homer Simpson's 10 year old son is working in a burlesque house. Bart loves giving the old greet and toss, but the morality police in town feel differently. So put some spring in your Springfield and listen to this week's episode now!

Comments

If you go to the AV Club's Simpsons' classic reviews, someone usually lists the syndication changes in the comments. (Don't know if those comments survived the switch to Kinja)

My kingdom for a book that chronicles the missing jokes for re-airings and pre-ADR'd lines! For now, I'll have to rely on my memory. In syndication, the scene of Homer and Bart parting ways ends at "see you at dinner." Not a bad way to end it, but I enjoy what follows.

So when bob mentioned that One Piece attraction in Tokyo where they played one song over and over again, it's actually pretty common at a lot of places in Japan. They'll play one maybe three minute loop over and over again all day long. Just shopping at a place like that gets annoying, so I can't imagine how the staff feels. Well, it's usually either that or easy listening versions of western music from the 60s up until now.
