Quick Talking Simpsons Update!

Hidely-ho, Paterinos! Henry here with a quick update on some minor changes happening on the Talking Simpsons Patreon this week:

1. Two New Choose-A-Topic Slots Are Open At the $50 Tier!

The "King-Sized Homer" level has been one of our most popular tiers since we began, as it lets a high level supporter choose the subject for a future What A Cartoon! podcast! So we figured we'd add a couple more spots in the tier in case there is anyone else interested!

2. New Patrons Will Be Charged Up Front For Their First Month

Patreon just opened up this option for all accounts, and it's one we've been considering for a while. It's nothing major, but something we've been considering, and it's a change that won't effect any current patrons, as payments will remain the same.

The only alteration for current supporters is if you increase your pledge during the month, the amount you increased it by will be charged immediately. Meaning that if you currently give $6.00 and feel like instead giving us $6.66 in October, you'll be charged $0.66 when you make that change. Hope all that makes sense, but I'll be hanging around in the comments to help with any questions you may have.

3. Only ONE of our 10/20 Portland Shows Still Has Tickets Available!!

Lastly, as we mentioned before, we're doing two live shows in Portland, OR on October 20! Even though the 5pm show has already sold out, tickets for our 2pm show are STILL AVAILABLE!  After our 5pm show was on track to sell out, we added an earlier show where Bob and I will go through our favorite Treehouse of Horror segments with all our Oregonian friends!
