I'm from Tipperary, very countryside picturesque of Ireland and the Simpson's is an absolute PHENOMENON here. Like it's very rare that I meet people that don't laugh at even the most obscure quotes. Me and my boyfriend first date was a discussion of the earlier Simpson's too. Theirs a Facebook page called Irish Simpson fans that parody Irish culture through the Simpson's and it was recently featured on the news. I've had many discussions with Americans over how big Simpson's mania is thanks to it's recent resurfacing and I genuinely can't believe how big it is here. Ireland and the Simpson's have an insane connection and I'm kinda wierded out by the Irish guys not going into detail over how much we as a culture absolutely LOVE the Simpson's.. either way though, the lads we're a great laugh and I really enjoyed it!
