It's a shame this episode gets a bad wrap just because it's past some arbitrary line the internet decided was when the Simpsons "went bad" because it's a phenomenal episode, and a great way to kick off a new season. Even though it's not at all summer related, it's vacation to a new place (even if it's very purposeful for Homer) is a nice lead in from a couple of months off. -- Also as per the whole Macarena thing, I can never hear it referenced without thinking about its inclusion in one of the Austin Powers movies. A truely timeless reference...
