Oddly enough, bootleg Bart stuff has been popping up more and more here in Japan. I've noticed it at more and more stores and I have no idea why. As far as I know the Simpsons hasn't had a surge of popularity recently. https://i.imgur.com/f7qlth8.jpg There's a link to a picture of a shirt I literally just found while walking home.

I agree that Stranger Things is good, and I haven't seen any backlash. That second season though...

I'm surprised how generally positive everyone seems to be about this episode. It was one of the first that made me think the show was declining. The trillion dollar bill plot is nonsensical but not in a fun way. Why would the government need Homer to search Mr Burns' house when they could easily get a search warrant? They KNOW he has it. I'd argue they takes two lazy shortcuts to wrap up the story, first when Castro says "what bill?" followed by Burns' "i'll bribe my way out of this" speech. Both gags fell flat for me. There were some good bits as well. Pretty much everything until the FBI appears is good and Mr Burns' polite attempts to maim Homer are hilarious. Also Stranger Things is still good, if uneven.
