Just one year before their '90s finale, MTV's original animated bad boys hit the silver screen in Beavis and Butt-Head Do America. This adult animated adventure did the unthinkable by not only getting the TV-addicted teens out of their house, but on a cross-country adventure across Clinton-era America that's full of chills, thrills, and self-romance! And on this episode of What A Cartoon Movie!, we dive deep into the history of both Beavis and Butt-Head and their kickass movie, and give our beat-by-beat (huh-huh) breakdown from start to finish. Don't be a dumbass, listen now!
I really need to revisit this movie, I remember seeing in the theater with my dad (who agreed to go on account of the siskel and ebert review) and laughing and laughing... and getting none of the actual satire.
It was funny to hear you guys throw shade at Ike, for sure any politician does deserve some, but just a week before listening to this episode I was with my grandfather and he was talking about his father refusing to vote for Eisenhower, despite being a Texas born army general, on account of Eisenhower being a 'n*****lover'. So yeah, he was 'too progressive' for the 1950s racists. He did popularize paint - by-numbers though, as Ike enjoyed the act of painting but was bad at making his art look like the things they looked like.

I had watched a good chunk of this movie last year on a (commercial free) movie channel while I was doing some work, but actually sitting down to watch it from start to finish was an awesome experience. I just wished I had remembered it was on Amazon Prime Video before I rented it on YouTube (d'oh)
