Oh my gosh: you guys absolutely made my day! I was actually starting to feel a little embarrassed for writing up that whole rant until I heard my comment read aloud in this episode. Thanks! To clarify, my brother and his wife and I separated by a huge age gap so she was in her late 30's/early 40's when I was a preteen. So yes, you guys were very correct in reading her as a scolding aunt figure because figuratively she was! Thank you once again, Bob and Henry!

I think you guys were fair and gave credit where credit's due on the Family Guy episode, because that pilot is ROUGH, even as someone who enjoys it more than you do. Talking about its many issues is fair given that Simpsons' first season is full of baaad bits, which I'm fully capable of admitting even though I love Simpsons so much more than I ever liked Family Guy.
