I knew that the Matrix as a whole was rife with Alice in Wonderland allusions, but it wasn’t until I listened to this podcast that I understood how often they can dive into it. Even Ash’s cat’s name is Dinah, the name of Alice’s cat. Perhaps they tried a little too hard to hammer that home

2020-01-28 02:53:52 +0000 UTCI'm still listening to this, and the content has been great so far. However, I do have a minor complaint. I know that being four hours long will result in a large file size, but the encoded bitrate (something like an effective 86kbps VBR) is pretty low, and lower than the Iron Giant's 96kbps effective rate. That extra ten kbps between this and the Iron Giant one made the compression artifacts even more noticeable. On a long listening session, artifacts make it more fatiguing to listen to the show. Since WAC movie pods are Patreon only, can they have at least a 128kbps effective rate?
