I’m currently learning Ancient Greek and early Christian history(yeah I know) and one of the first things I was taught was that in the original Greek the gospels of the New Testament are called ευαγγελίου or “the good news”. I’m not sure if that’s what the writers were going for with that line but I always get a laugh out of it. It’s also where get neon genesis Evangelion or “origin of the new good news/gospel”
