My poor little baby.
Added 2020-04-10 17:44:52 +0000 UTCBreastfeeding always makes the hurty better. So much for our quarantine. My toddler was being a monkey jumping on the bed but it wasn’t her head she hurt! She fractured her little elbow landing on her arm wrong late last night! I’m on two hours of sleep up with the baby who slept with daddy in the car last night in 3 parking lots. I called a night pediatrician who said they take kids with broken or dislocated arms only to get there and the doctor come in and say she’s uncomfortable dealing with this type of situation and doesn’t have much experience and we must go straight to an ER which we were trying our hardest to avoid due to covid-19! That trip took us a 45 min drive to other side of town for them to say they could then send us away?! Why did I even call to verify then they couldn’t do anything! So on to next ER where Xrays were performed and splint put on then they sent us to a children’s hospital ER to reset it and get more xrays only to tell me now she has to wait a week to see an orthopedic surgeon! As a mother of young babies I’m freaking out a bit. I’ll do my best to post as much as I can but if for some reason I don’t post for the next couple of days this is why!
