The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 22/March/2019
Added 2019-03-22 14:00:00 +0000 UTCAs some of you may have seen on my Instagram (along with a small sneak peek!), Chapter 8 is complete!!
Felt good to be able to power through that and get real progress done :D
Chapter 9 will be a bit of a longer one again as it has a big scene difference at the end depending on which branch your MC's chose in Book One for a certain something ;)
It also has the first friend scene decided by friendship points in it, which is something I'm really looking forward to writing!
So quite a bit of variation for Chapter 9 again.
So far, the total word count for Book Two is sitting at 255,857 words! I'm not sure of average playthrough count yet as Random Test is being a bit funky for me. Hopefully will get that next week.
I'm really hoping there's a lot of replayability to it for the different romances as well a more personalised style of playthrough!
So yeah, a great week again, and I'll be onto Chapter 9 already on Monday, hehe! :D

For Update+ this week, I thought I'd share a—out of context but a bit spoilery—small snippet from Chapter 8:
I swallow down the fear beginning to claw its way up my throat.
"What is—Oh no…"
I whip around as the soft echo of a pained voice beats through the cloudy shadows. A familiar voice.
"$!{nate}!"
