"His new work ethic can only be a good thing," Verda offers, looking over to Tina for agreement.
She scrunches up her nose. "Bit weird though, isn't it? And the way he follows [Detective Name] around all the time." She nods towards you. "It's creepy."
Verda sighs. "The boy finally has a role model to follow. It's not as though he's had one of those at home."
Tina smiles. "Oh, bit of a dig at the mayor?"
"We all know it's true," he replies. Tina's smile falls a little as she sighs.

While I admit having Douglas following my Detective aroubd like an abandoned puppy is a little unsettling, he is much easier to deal with than his father.

The Mayor is also a *huge* creep, totally unprofessional, an absolute jerk, and a kiss ass. Dougie is definitely a bit creepy with his hero worship and crush but it’s not nearly as bad as his father... (or Bobby for that matter)
