The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 25/Feb/2023

Sorry for the late update, guys. As Nai said, it's been a bit of a hectic week. Mum took a downturn over last weekend so was rushed back to hospital where she's been ever since. We don't want to leave her alone in there so me and Nai have worked out a schedule so as she always has someone with her but enough time so as we can still work. It's not looking like she'll be out anytime soon.

I've not been able to have access to a laptop at the hospital, so I've been using paper and pen, which actually works really well for planning stages as I prefer that. I know I wasn't going to plan too much of Book Four yet, but it's diving into that has been a great distraction.

The most surprising and exciting thing to happen was a scene that came to me almost fully formed that has almost completely changed how Book Four was going to be! I went back and forth on even if to pursue because it's such a huge change, but I just love the idea too much not to let it grow. So we'll see how Book Four plans start to change as I incorporate that!

Book Three release is still our priority as we're getting so much closer now. We have some great things planned for March to build up towards that!

Also we have some very exciting things planned for the future in general, which we've been able to discuss in more detail this week. I'm extremely excited for where things are going to be leading in the future...

Next week will be continuing on with Book Three release prep as well as social media days. Looking forward to getting stuck into the Patreon content and let my mind flow with some writing!

Nate/Nat crouches instantly, gathering up the pieces of the frame and shaking off the glass from the photo, his/her fingers shaking. "I'm fine. Sorry."

"You don't need to apologise—"

"Clumsiness is not normally one of my traits," He/She interrupts, wheezing out a laugh through the heavy, emotion-filled words. He/She stands back up with a smile. "I'll clean this up. You should try to get some rest."
