AN: No new stories, just writing a test chapter

Plot: Harry Potter was really excited to go to Hogwarts, read on as he goes through his school life dealing with all the average problems that Harry Potter deals with like dark lords and monsters. At least he has Professor Peverell on his side. Neville is the BWL, the world will be different from the canon world.

Scene 1:

Harry quickly sat down as he arrived at the defence against the dark arts class, this was one of the lessons that he was most excited for. He had heard great things about Professor Peverell, apparently, he was the first teacher in decades to ever hold this post for longer than a year. As he sat down next to his new friend Ron, he could see that the rest of the class was also looking fairly excited.

"I can't wait," Ron whispered to Harry. "Fred and George say that he's the best teacher in this school, even Percy likes him. You should hear the rumours about him, apparently, he took down a dragon smuggling ring the week before he joined the school."

"Wicked," Harry whispered back. He was about to say more when he heard the voice of Hermione Granger from the seat behind him.

"He's also the youngest Hogwarts teacher in a century," She whispered to the two. "Apparently, he was barely outside of Hogwarts age when he applied and got the job." She was about to say more when suddenly shouting was heard, coming from the back of the class. Harry looked back and saw Neville Longbottom arguing with Draco Malfoy. Harry didn't know much about Neville, just that he was a celebrity of some sort who survived an attack from Voldemort when he was a baby. However, Harry did know that he didn't like Draco Malfoy so he knew who he was voting for if the two got into a fight.

Speaking of, the two boys pulled out their wands and were about to start firing when suddenly the dragon skeleton above them roared, shocking the whole class, they all looked up and saw it move its head in their direction. It roared once more before returning to normal.

"Can you two please go back to your seats now?" A voice called, the class turned to see the professor exit from his office. Harry took a moment to stare at his teacher, Professor Peverell, who was about six feet tall and had messy black hair and bright green eyes. If it wasn't for the eyes and a few facial differences then Harry would have assumed that this man was James Potter since he was eerily similar to the photo that Harry had seen.

Neville and Draco wisely returned to their seats as the professor stopped in front of his desk and stared at the class in front of him. Harry felt himself straighten up under his gaze.

"I am Professor Peverel," He announced. "Welcome to defence against the dark arts, we will start the year off with a few useful spells and discussing creatures that the ministry has labelled as 'dark'." He said in a tone that made it clear that he didn't think much of the ministry. "Any questions so far?"

"Expecto Patronum!" Harry yelled, a silvery whisp shot out of his wand before transforming into a glowing stag. "Whoa! I did it! Did you see that?! I did it!"

"That you did," Professor Peverel smiled proudly. "I told you you could do it,"

"But...I know what you said...but I still find it hard to believe that I could make that," Harry said, gesturing to the giant stag that trotted over before to Professor Peverell who barely batted an eye at it.

"It's hard, I know, hard to not over or underestimate yourself. But you are a great wizard, Mr Potter," The Professor told him just before the door opened and Professor Babbling walked in.

"Ah, sorry to interrupt," She said. "But I was hoping you could help me with something," She asked Professor Peverell hopefully. The good professor had barely opened his mouth when another person walked in.

"Mr Peverell," Professor Sinatra said as she walked in. "Could you perhaps help me with something?"

"Sorry," Another voice said as third female professor walked in. "I need his help,"

"Not as great as you apparently," Harry said to the professor.
