She wants to train and learn as much as she can to be able to finally best A/M (especially A) during one of their combat lessons. It's also pushed a question forward that has been lurking in the back of her mind, did Rook have an anomaly - is this history repeating. She needs more answers from Rebecca and will start to really dig her heels in to get the truth from her.

2024-10-21 01:01:33 +0000 UTCMy detective/agent is absolutely horrified… she always has taken the view of humans and supernaturals are equal… and she has always done her best to fight for the little guys… but she is deeply traumatized by what Murphy did to her… and now she has hurt Ava… and has the potential to destroy everyone she cares about… she’s making plans to ask the agency to isolate her away from everyone including her mum… to get a grasp on her mental health… and what exactly has happened to her… she doesn’t want to be a supernatural… her physical skills has been able to carry her so far… she wants her feet on the ground thank you very much…

It would make her feel like she's officially part of this new world that she loves, since she already felt like she belonged in it more than how her life was before knowing about anything supernatural. However, she would be afraid of hurting anyone she cares about and would try to keep them at arms length until she could fully control her new abilities, that includes UB. She would probably be afraid that she might never be able to control them and that she might harm someone she loves to the extent that she can't ever fix what she's done. That would make her think about possibly even speaking with the heads of the Agency about putting a contingency plan in place.

My A-mancer definitely thinks it’s cool as hell and will want to learn all about it! She’s been curious about magic and the most excited about the supernatural so she’s hyped. My N-mancer. I think he mostly curious and tired. So very tired. This might as well happen. He’s very scientific so he’s going to want to learn about it but in a more “I guess this is my problem now” way. My F-mancer is so mad. She is so angry about this. She does not like Li-Sar! She does not like weirdos doing weird things to her body!! AGAIN!! And it hurt her beloved perfect boyfriend! She is pissed!!

However, it has begun to slowly chip away at her facade, until her entire being is shattered by yet another complication entirely out of her control. She has fallen from grace, reduced to a trembling shell of her former self. How is she supposed to protect the people she cares about when she can no longer trust even herself? It feels as if her own body has betrayed her.

One is fully intending to let the power corrupt them, at least a little - so very content, LOL. And one of them is so horrified of their new powers and what they can do with them, because they're an F-mancer, and there's just no getting that off your conscience, not now, not ever. F did not deserve that! 😭 A and the others had it coming, at least to some degree, but F did not deserve it at all!

2024-10-15 15:23:39 +0000 UTCThese aren't just any powers, they come with a link to a person he does not know, nor trust and likely a heavier cost than the lack of control, the idea of hurting people he cares about and is supposed to be protecting alone is problematic at best. He would like to get a gauge on who this person is, what these powers are and what he can do with it. The more he can make use of them and see them as independent of the entity that forced it the better he will see the abilities. So I suppose cautious with the desire to make a thing useful, he went with crazy blood, crazy blood 2.0 the vampirizing and now solar entity electric boogaloo, why not I guess. May as well cautiously make use of it and see how it goes. The options on failure are much less pleasant and probably involve sleeping it off in a steel box in an agency basement somewhere and he is not cool with that.

But deep down inside he is very curious about those supernatural powers and he's going to figure them out so he'll not hurt anyone he loves with them again and get rid of them if possible. Now that I think about it he is kind of angsty lol

2024-10-15 14:40:13 +0000 UTCMy N,F & A mancers are terrified. Hurting their Li (or almost hurting in Felix’s case 🤔) definitely made them balk. I think my N mancers are the most terrified with A mancer slightly devolving a bit under the new stress. My A mancer is probably trying to be okay about it, but is definitely feeling more isolated with him trying to tamper down his feelings for A and handling the powers/usual stress from the supernatural world. He like all my mancers don’t want to hurt anyone—human or supernatural. My M mancers…both are processing. They aren’t excited yet not so scared of the powers.

What that means to the person she loves and the people she’s set to protect, and not hurting herself (how does she explain this to her therapist?) A mancer: Annoyed that this is yet another aspect of her curated life that has slipped outside of her control. But she is determined to to get ahead of it, and especially with the help with Adam and UB F mancer: Thinks this is seriously so cool. Is very concerned that she’s hurt Felix. So, she will make sure that he’s alright first, then get to work to see what the abilities of her powers are (and how to keep Li-Sar from taking advantage) M mancer: Still processing Mason asking her if she’s known about this. But she will deal with it! Sarcastically. To the worry of bff N LT: Oh she’s just even more confused!

If she had the option, she'd find a way to lock herself away from UB until she learned to control it. She's also super pissed that, once again, someone has taken her autonomy and forced another power on her. Her blood making her a supernatural power-up wasn't enough? Now, she has sun powers? The next supernatural or human to try to change her physiology/biology is getting a swift kick in the tush! 😆

She would like to turn one day, so it’s not a question of losing her humanity per se, but it’s like… another weird and out of her control thing that’s been imposed on her? In a way, she’s been violated again. And on top of that, it accidentally got her to hurt the love of her life. So yeah, if it were up to her, my girl would take that power out immediately. Especially because she doesn’t feel like her worth hinges on having powers.

If this power had/has no drawbacks and he knew how to control it, I imagine he would be having the time of his life exploring the limits though. (Also worried this might mean he's forever connected to a random evil stranger without knowing if that has any effects on him... but one thing at a time, right? Sin was not some kind of example, right?)

I had headcanoned that my MC had been feeling low-key insecure about being the only squishy human on a team of superpowered vamps, so on some level this sudden increase in power is very welcome. But also worried about the various implications (not least of which is what having solar powers that she doesn't have complete control over might mean for her favourite vampires!)
