Lmao. One of my favs. I remember watching it when it came out and it was a blast. Yes. The other comments are all correct. Just stop after the second one. He was also in Encino Man with Sean Astine (Sam in LOTR) & had a guest cameo in Son in Law with Pauly Shore. He also in Journey to the Center Of the Earth (another adventure movie). There are 2 more Mummy movies, The Mummy Returns is the next one, & it is Dwayne The Rock Johnson's first movie roll. The 3rd movie is meh, not really missing anything if you don't see it, & the one done a couple of years ago with Tom Cruise sucked! But the 2nd Mummy movie is really good.

2024-02-03 03:50:37 +0000 UTCYou're correct in saying there's a trilogy, the second being the Mummy Returns and the third, Tomb of the Dragon Emperor To be honest, though, only number two is worth watching It builds on the first story quite well but the third one is just plain insignificant to what happened previously, especially since it doesn't concern an Egyptian mummy but a Chinese one instead It's okay as a single movie but it takes away from the other two massively Evie's character got recast too and that kind of bummed me out when I first saw it I think when the second one was finished, that should've been it but money talks in Hollywood so it is what it is

2024-02-03 03:38:31 +0000 UTCThe Mummy was made to be more of an Indiana Jones type movie in its own right, down to the production aspects you listed The only difference is the horror stuff being added to the story that tributed the original from the 30s whereas Indy had little amounts of scariness and creepiness The name you're trying to remember is Brendan Fraser and he's such an underrated actor George of the Jungle was a childhood favorite of mine I watched it every week back then, I almost wore out the VHS!

Poor guy got blacklisted from Hollywood for many years because he was a victim of sexual misconduct and spoke out about it! He finally made his comeback last year by winning an Oscar for best performance for The Whale! I myself and the whole Internet seemed to be rooting for him! Glad he got his time to shine after how dirty he got treated! Anyways thanks again!! About to watch right now!! Hope you guys have a fantastic weekend! 🙌🙏🥰

Last year he released a movie called The Whale and it was probably the performance of the year, if not the best performance in the last 5 years. He's a very underrated actor
