But I do get the reference to the movie mask with Jim Carry when he says, "No it wasn't me, it was the one arm man". Harrison Ford really plays a good innocent character in most of his movies and the one you were thinking about when he was a Cowboy, I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say its probably Cowboys and Aliens perhaps?

This movie is "loosely" based on the true story of Dr. Sam Shepherd, who was accused of murdering his wife. There WAS a "one armed man" involved. Dr. Shepherd of Ohio, spent years in prison before being acquitted.

She was calling out to her husband for help. That's why she said "Richard, he's trying to kill me." She was trying to yell for Richard.
