0.5 news, poll on support (long, very long post)

Hello everyone,

I hope you are having fun with the latest update of the Chronicles of Leridia.

It is time to give you some news on what is planned for the coming months:

Here we are and it feels a little strange to write it, it's the arrival of the update that will finish the main story of the game, the 0.5.

After 4 years of writing, of characters created, of moving, sad, joyful and torrid scenes... Sylia's story will reach its peak. 

This will, I think, be the biggest update and the biggest challenge in the history of the development of this project.

I won't hide it from you, it will take several months of work on all levels: poses, scenes, mapping, scripts, tests, retests, balancing...

I know that important updates take time to come, but in general, unless I am mistaken, they have never been disappointing.

Here is what is planned in detail, so that you, Patrons who have supported me for a long time and are faithful, know what your support is for:

- Final mapping of the north of the map: The tower of illusions  (75% done, details to be added + Dungeons )

- Final mapping of the Lost Dimension (80% completed) 

- Mapping the western front: to be done 

- Mapping of the inferno: to be done

Scriptwriting events of the final chapter: everything to be written in play but 70% of the screenplay is in draft form.

Poses + New enemies: everything to do (which is good news in itself since they will not be mostly covers of old cgs)

Then, balancing, various additions.

It will be a priority, and I will be honest with you, to finish the story so that the game can have an end. 

But then what? 

The 1.0 will come to refine and add content on many points that can be improved, completed: new stages of progression in the scenes, return of other characters (Simon!) and related aspects... in order to make Leridia rich in content in its full version.

The 0.5 will already be very rich in events and epic, the additions will allow the game to continue afterwards.

What about after Leridia? 

Well, the world will allow to open up to a project in the same universe with maybe other mechanics. The life of a slayer or a sacred guardian...I have my idea on that but it's still early.

Another project like the ones mentioned in the survey? 

Here again I have something in mind but the 0.5 remains the priority. I don't want to disperse.

No small updates by 0.5 and when will this update be released?

I have thought about this for a long time, in my opinion it seems preferable to concentrate on the big update because it will require following closely the whole final story, if I disperse now, I risk losing the feeling... because I intend to keep a rhythm and a final feeling throughout this development.

So in the end, I prefer to warn you, I think the next update will be at the end of March. This is a realistic estimate and in general, I stick to my releases announcements.

I would like to know if you are willing to support me during this time, it's true without content... but then you will have, I think, a fucking update that was worth it.

I allow myself this because I believe I have proven myself up to now and I have gained your confidence.

It is obvious that if I encounter difficulties, you will be informed and with the pledge model "per creation" I can estimate that I will not have to ask you for support if by March I have not done what needed to be done.

Of course, you will be informed of the evolution, as best as possible, from the small slime tier patron to the captain slayer... all you will have the privilege to be informed before the publications on the blog and forums.

I have a lot of work ahead of me, I will need you, your encouragement, your constructive criticism... I want to finish this project and finish it with you, because this universe of Leridia is really becoming a fascinating universe and it must be accomplished.
