I wanted to thank everyone who has supported me since I first came on Patreon in 2018. We're now more than 200 patrons and growing. It's really impressive !
Your support has always been growing and present. Without it, Leridia would have struggled to get to this point and I'll tell you straight out, Cyberslayers would not have been born.
Let's be honest, having financial support is essential to stay motivated and see projects beyond a simple hobby.
In return, I have to offer you projects like COL and CYB. You expect a certain level of quality today and by releasing good updates like I think the 0.2 for Cyberslayers or the 0.6 for Leridia, you expect even better next time.
This is normal and I have to find the balance between expectations and the realization of my ambitions.
I decided not to listen too much to expectations, honestly, and to do the projects as I imagine them.
If I were to stop having fun, it would be felt and that's what I value most.
So yes, there can be a long wait between each release. Simply because the balance I have found is not to spend ten hours a day on my projects but to devote the time and energy necessary to move forward at a good pace without getting bored.
It's a difficult balance but one that has worked for over 5 years.
However, I know that if you have been supporting me for a long time, it is only fair to get some feedback.
So I've decided that all active patrons on the next Cyberslayers 0.3 update who have more than all time $100 in support, whether they support 2/5/10 or $25 a month, will get a 10 days early access.
It is abnormal that patrons who have supported +$100 for 4 years with $2 a month or $5 a month cannot have equal early access to 25$ patrons.
I'll take the time at that moment to send you a message with the link. Feel free to contact me then on Patreon so I can see your support and give you early access.
Note that Leridia 1.0 won't have early access. It's only for Cyberslayers.

I'm not working full time on this but I dedicate much more time than before when working on leridia ealy versions. Still, I stop right away when I become tired or not concentrated enough to do something else. Sometimes I come back with full force in the same day later...I think that if you force yourself, it cannot work. You miss things, you don't add cool things...and the player feel it soon or later. So yeah, I admit, some days I can work only one hour and some others much more. This kinda works and I'm having always fun and fresh ideas frequently. I know people will wait. People here know my vision and how I'm working. So far, I think I didn't fail too much in delivering good updates (maybe 0.1 CYB was a bit short but it had months of works ahead to establish the game).

To many developers which use Patreon as a sole source of income break down sooner or later cause they stress themselves to much and forget to actual have fun with what they are doing. Just stay communicative with the people that support you and most won't mind waiting.
