End of the year, Roadmap

First of all, I would like to thank you for playing in my projects and for following their evolution with interest. Leridia is more than 5 years old and people are still coming up with new ideas for 1.0.

Cyberslayers seems to be on the right track, according to your feedback.

I will talk about the near future of Cybeslayers (I) first and then about Leridia (II). Finally I will talk about my last set (III).

I CYBERSLAYERS

Cyberslayers, a game with potential that is developing in the right way

Factually from the feedback, players are very excited at each update to discover new content and this one seems to live up to the expectations.

The choice to make a 0.3 series was the right one. It opens up the world and its side possibilities to enrich it. Roads open up as well as places and little stories.

It will continue in this direction with the next update which will be the 0.3.2. It will not develop the main story but will reinforce the foundations laid in 0.3.

Thus, in the writing it is notably planned, in a certain way:

Locations

Downtown :

- Opening of the Oxygen Bar in the evening

- Opening of the related area of downtown, the dark streets that will offer places like the Rising Star Studio in particular (not sure the studio  will be available though for this update)

- Police Station: the basement

- Slayer Mission: the backyard

Activities

- Mixed public bath in the evening, events planned

- Super Monster hunt in the repeatable mission

- (Very not sure but I'll try : Waitress Job at Oxygen Bar)

Routes

- Phase III with Fred

- First phases with Raph

Quality of life

- Implementing easier navigation between activities and place to avoid unnecessary travel.

That's it. This roadmap can be extended but I don't want to promise things I couldn't do in 3 months.

You know that what I announce, I do and I stick to the dates without weeks of delays.

The super monster is going to require a boss fight, that means weeks of work on the fight that I want to be epic. The routes are also very demanding and mapping new locations also takes time.

I don't think I'm going to introduce any new mechanics, the existing ones still need to be tested and revenge/dominance also allow a lot of things, like skills and traits.

I think the foundations are in place, 0.3.2 will continue to enrich the universe.

Then we'll come back to the main story and go to 0.4.

The release of 0.3.2 is estimated for March.

II Chronicles of Leridia

A long Road to 1.0

There hasn't been an update for a long time but I'm coming back to the project regularly. There have been a lot of small additions and it's still going on.

I thought I would release 1.0 before the end of the year but I want to revise a lot of things.

So far most of the events in Masa are done as well as the mansion and the deep forest.

I have to move Sylia to the temple of light now.

All the new events are the same as the existing cg's. To be transparent, the creation of new images on the old engine is not possible anymore, this one being on my old pc and obsolete. So I draw from the 5k+ images to invent new pentagrams etc...

So there will be a big delay on 1.0 because I'm revising almost everything (from mapping/lighting effects to dialogues and events, adding pentagrams and situations).

I hope to release the final version next summer.

III Kaelynn's set, the Sacred Guardian of Earth

The first part is complete. There are 120 images with text. Coming in a couple of days.

This first part will be divided for the three corresponding patreon tiers.

Next month, the $10 tiers will get the rest of the first part and the $25 tiers will get the whole of that part, while the Core Souls will get the whole of the second part.

I know there is a significant advantage for Core Souls slots, it's intentional.

I want to reiterate though that I will be sharing incomplete sets for many of you over time. This should always be seen as a bonus for your support.

You know, I'm not a big fan of having to pay to discover content, but bonuses and early access help sustain projects considerably, that's a fact, and without it, you wouldn't have as much content. I think I'm living up to the expectations for updates and that's not going to change.

Soon, I'll talk about this last year of work.
