Mastodon for iOS, iPad beta testing
Added 2021-11-03 17:08:12 +0000 UTCWe got some feedback on the iPad designs we came up with before and changed things around. The split view layout was more confusing than useful, so now there is just one content panel. The sidebar design was changed to be more compact but always visible. Most importantly, the search function is now always in view, just like on the web app.
You can also add multiple accounts to the app now. On the phone version, long-press your profile picture in the bottom bar to bring up the account switching menu.
The app is also no longer hard-coded to the various length limits but rather gets its configuration from a recently added API (unfortunately, not yet in a stable release, but available on the main branch of Mastodon!). This should help those who use Mastodon servers that change the character limit, but it will also help us in case we decide to change character limits or the number of poll options or allowed file size for media attachments and so on in the future.
You can also finally browse following/followers lists in the app.

I have been using the TestFlight version of Mastodon. It says it expired, so The app disappeared. Is there a new link to get it? I am still a member.
