Step's nanovores could technically do that, but it is very unlikely.

After HG has successfully red-threaded someone, do they require touch again to strengthen or weaken their influence over the person or can they do it remotely, no touch required? 

They need touch to strengthen it, though they have methods to keep the bond from weakening remotely.

Obviously just a squatter.

Have Jake and Ortega ever interacted (beyond the parkfield fight)? What do they think of each other, even if they haven't?

They have fought, more than once. No clear winner, though neither have gone at it for real. Jake has stuck to his solid/strong/tough form and not phased. He doesn't want that trick to be too well known.

When ashfall is in his dispersed form, are his thoughts obscured like Jake's when he's not solid?

No.

at one point in the dinner scene ortega says "I got my apartment blown up when you were dead, and that's only one of about a dozen more or less messed up things that happened". What were some of those other things?

Honestly, I haven't decided yet.

Would/does Chen have an opinion of HG without the red strings in his mind? I know he says that Ortega might be onto something, but is it a thing worth pursuing?

Chen needs to think about it. Too soon to say.

No, but powerful.

Technically, yes. But they are more... willful and evolved than Sidesteps sample.

Argent's body, such as it is, is still there.

That HG sib who died in police custody... Did they have a proper burial or was it say more of a sidestep funeral with an empty casket?

The body was not returned to the family, but buried by the state.

Does Argent's super-strength come from the nanovores, or is it a separate power?

It is a combination of Argent's powers and the nanovores. A joint effort.

why did none of the other regenes in sidestep’s batch survive?

Because the boost drug is dangerous, and the effects unpredictable.

I'm not sure if that was already asked but... How would Ortega react if Step told them about Re-gene part before scenes in 18 chapter? 

Probably in a similar way.

Why did Blaze and Steel split and how did they get together? Also what was the dynamic of steel/blaze/charge when Steel and Blaze were together? What were The Rangers opinions on it?

They met during official occasions, and Chen, being Chen was less than enthused about being there. Blaze tried to cheer him up, and they started to talk. They were never officially a thing, the Rangers or the Guardians knew nothing. Blaze detested Ortega, and the feeling was somewhat mutual. Both of them like being the center of attention, and Ortega was simply better at it. It fell apart because neither of them wanted it to become something more, and thus it became more of an effort than it was worth. If Ricardo was in the picture, Blaze probably felt that Chen was comparing them. If Julia was in the picture, Chen had a feeling that Blaze might be more interested in her.

Hypothetically, if step hadn't been taken by the farm at the end of heartbreak, would the Ranger's medical team have been able to save them? Curious if the farm is more advanced or not. Happy new year and thank you for everything!

The Rangers would have been able to save Sidestep, but they might not have been able to repair as much damage. Being ruthless and fast and taking massive risks can pay off.

If Dr. Finch knew Sidestep was a telepath, how would that change the protocol of their meetings? Would dampeners be installed or would she recommend a therapist with more experience on telepathy?

If she had known, she would have used portable dampeners, or, if trust had been established, she might agree to do it without. She has experience in treating telepaths, that's actually the reason why Ortega suggested her name to Sidestep (though they didn't tell Sidestep, just that she was used to treating people like them and took privacy very seriously, which she does.)

Were Hollow Ground’s parents involved with the farm / the regene programme at all? For example, were they on the client list for regene organs?

No.

When Steel tells Sidestep about destroying the "autopsy" pictures, Sidestep tells us he's lying. What did he do with them? Where are the pictures now?

Steel doesn't get rid of evidence, but where he keeps it is a good question.

Did Mortum find out sidestep is a telepath before or after Heartbreak happened?

After.

What happens to regenes when they get older? Are they recycled/harvested for parts when they reach the end of their service? Who are the oldest regenes and are they still serving/where are they?

It depends. This is still a young technology, so it's not like there are geriatric Re-Genes running around. Most of the combat ones die before age becomes an issue, but ones who fail to perform physically and lack other uses tends to be recycled/harvested. Some are used within various training programs, and others for research into their powers. The oldest Re-Genes has been working for the Farm in non-combat roles as their powers are useful in that role. They are few, not even a handful.

Can HG feel it if someone say tugs at the red strings trying to fight the compulsion?  Are they able to tell when something needs to be reinforced before an issue is caused?

No, it's experience and judgment.

Would HG be able to  thread Argent or would the sharks take a bite out of the moray before it could be achieved?

Oh they'd bite before any threads could be placed. Argent is as safe as Ortega. Dual minds are tricky.

Has Argent thought further ahead of making the regenerator work? What kind of outcome does she imagine, and what would she want to do with her life if it works well enough that she is divested of her powers (ie. her impervious skin and limb malleability)?

Does a Re-Gene's pain gate have to be moved/removed in order to access their AI chip?

No. The pain gate sits lower down the spine.

What would HG’s reaction and/or actions been if family member didn’t want to follow into the family business? 

Probably not too good at first.

Tw suicide and also real dark question in general, sorry folks. Are suicides/suicide attempts common between regene? How does the farm treat those occurrences?

It's about as common as in any population subjected to massive stress. The Farm tries to deal with it through conditioning, and occasionally they have to do a fresh mind wipe to return the mind to default settings and try again.
