Oh man I haven't had a drawing flow out like this in a while, I had such a good time drawing this I barely wanted to put the pen down! So happy with how it turned out and that the blue tones work. You know my love affair with the orange overlay ๐ Added some of the process too, it's fun working with mermaid bodies and trying to figure out the anatomy and how the tails wrap around one another. I think I might need to make a separate tag just for monsterfuckery!
I'm resetting endhawks mermaid AU set and designs yearly it seems, but can't get away from MerHawk's long eyebrows ๐ Who are they to each other in the world of merfolk? Who knows? Forbidden love in the water? Have they eloped to mate in the seaweed forest? ๐๐๐

Suspense and intrigue under the surface ๐ I definitely imagined some kind of claspers/cloaca inspired thing going on there, Enji's other dick is just hidden behind Hawks' body! And oh yesss I totally get the folktale illustration vibe! I kinda purposfully kept back from putting in too harsh contrast, somehow the misty and grainy look of it embraced the atmosphere, to me at least ๐ฉต

Does, does enji have dicks like some fish do where it's like claspers???? i'm confused, and curious and then i laugh at hawks' hair brows xD oof the weight in enji's tiddies and their floaty pretty hair *chefs kiss* okay weird thing I'm going to say, but this art feels and has the vibes of like old folktales? I dunno how to describe it, but it gives me old mystic, celtic, even scandinavian vibes, just, like, art you would see in an old, old book talking about tales about the merfolk...except it's smut BUT yeah, it's really interesting cause I can't explain what about the piece makes me get those vibes (from an artistic standpoint) but I really love that it does :) Ahaha orange love affair on pause, blue love affair for mermay started (or ending it since we almost done with may!) xD
