But your post does what most people refuse to do, to look at the gray and unpleasant areas behind why someone might perform a horrific act. Again, I can’t excuse burning your child (any child) alive, but there are layers to all of it and I agree with much of what you said.

I think Shireen’s crying out for her broke through all of that? Or maybe I’m too much of an optimist..?

2019-02-21 13:25:05 +0000 UTCShireens death was THE worst moment for me in this show. I was a huge Stannis fan-girl so this broke my heart, and also I loved Shireen and thought she, as the Baratheon heir could help bring a real change to the realm. :(
