I'm a big believer in this theory. Seems way to plausible

I have a few more thoughts about Hodor that didn't make it to this reaction but will be there at the beginning of the next one ;)

I'm crying reading about you crying about watching me :P

Ooooo those are really great points! Awesome :)

So sad for Wyllis and Hodor :( I know Bran didn't mean it but his actions still had consequences...It seems like there was no other way for the good of the realm, but if the white walkers wind up rolling over everything anyway and Hodor's sacrifice was for nothing I will be mad >:(

Ooooh daaang! Trying to make herself this demure tragic mother who lost her son because of an evil brother

One theory I heard after this episode aired was that Bran could be the one who made the mad king go crazy and the reason he kept repeating "burn them all" over and over before Jamie killed him. It's just a theory but it could explain a lot...

Anyone else get a little excited when he says “if you want to see the next three episodes, they’re already available..” and then remember that’s addressed to the folks in Youtubeland? :)

“I wonder what Hodor’s story is...” Famous last words. Poor, sweet giant. And they gave him Stark music at the end! *sob* I think it’s worth noting the look of horror on Bran’s face as he sees Wyllis go down with his seizure. He knows what he did, but then, as the Three-Eyed-Raven said, the past is already written, the ink is dry. It still leaves so much to ponder though, and I enjoyed your thoughts on it. I’m sure you’ll have some more as the whole thing percolates a bit more.

I was crying watching you

Yes, Sansa making Jon the Stark cloak was kind, but it was also BRILLIANT and manipulative (but not negatively so). With this, she a) tells Jon he’s a Stark, the leader of the Starks, so he will see himself that way & make decisions based on that entitlement, emboldened by the memory of who Ned was, and b) signals to the other Northern leaders that Jon is a Stark, not a bastard, not someone who abandoned the Nights Watch, but Ned’s successor, someone honorable and just and worthy of their allegiance. She’s savvy as hell.

YOU DID VERY WELL. I remember watching this, as a book reader, and having no idea this was coming. It wasn’t even hinted at, which wasn’t really the case for a lot of things up til this point in the show series. And I cried like a damn baby for hours afterward. I went to work the next day pissed off as hell and wanted Bran to suffer the worst possible consequences. I have since lightened up a bit on Bran, but I still maintain an opinion of exactly what you said: Bran is the one who sneaks around and does things he knows he isn’t supposed to do because he is bored and curious, and terrible things happen when he does that.

It defintely is one way or another - the actual initiator may be unknown tho. I mean in the end it's just a manifestation of "history is written by the winners" and therefore what comes through to the 'common folk' - especially misty when it comes all the way from another continent.

I can’t remember where this was stated, whether it was in a theory video, or inside the episode, or commentary, but I believe the play is a propaganda piece backed by Cersei & spread around the world, even beyond Westeros to Braavos. Anyone else remember that? It may have been in a GoT Academy theory video.
