2019-05-02 22:12:14 +0000 UTCThat tingling you felt was most likely your body being flooded with all that adrenaline which is also why your hands were that cold. I had the same thing happen to me so yeah.
2019-05-02 22:10:17 +0000 UTChaha I actually realize I was being critical at all XD :) Thanks

2019-05-02 04:35:36 +0000 UTCI appreciate someone seeing this more critically and with less of a bias of excitement. This episode was a big let down to me but it was amazing in other ways too. Thank u for always being honest with ur reactions :)

2019-04-30 14:28:05 +0000 UTCGood point! Definitely feel like the Dothraki should have been used in some other way though. Charging into the night where you can't see anything seems like not the smartest plan xD;

2019-04-30 14:27:35 +0000 UTCHey, sweets. GRRM has gone on record several times saying to be careful with prophesies because they are rarely ever literal. Also, are you saying you felt particularly fulfilled with say Robb’s story? Or Sansa’s? Or in life? Sometimes you don’t get to know and you never know. And it’s messy and truly means nothing in the end. Was this episode a dramatic and heroic ending to this war? I thought so. How often do we get to spend an entire movie length on just one battle? Was it emotionally fulfilling? Sometimes. And sometimes it felt pointless. And that’s how all wars are. Sometimes there is no good reason, and our people die killing others, and that’s it. It’s realistic.

2019-04-30 02:57:49 +0000 UTCOk. So. I’m of two minds on this episode. 1) it was incredible, thrilling cinema! I wanted to throw up the entire time. Taken independently from the rest of the series, it was beautiful and I loved it. 2) But within the context of the series, it was a crushing disappointment. There was truly no more depth nor complexity to the Night King/White Walkers than just simplistic evil? They had literally no substantive goal beyond the flimsy...not even sketch...line drawing Bran gave last episode? They’ve been built up for 8 seasons for this simple & shallow of an ending? What about the Prince that was Promised or Azor Ahai? Arya doesn’t fit the prophesy. Was it just pointless? What’s the point now for Bran being the 3 Eyed Raven? It all feels shallow and unsatisfying to me....but within the context of an episode I love. I lowkey expected that Bran was in league with the Night King - we didn’t see the NK until Bran warged, and then it appeared to me as though Bran was welcoming him to the godswood. I was rooting for the twist to have Bran as the actual villain....perhaps the Night King’s magic had penetrated his arm where he touched him and was darkening his heart and forged a connection between them...or something. But nope.

2019-04-30 02:52:39 +0000 UTCI think Melisandre lighting the arakhs on fire accomplished something important - it showed everyone else exactly how far away the wights were, and gave them advanced warning that the Dothraki were nearly all killed to be added to the army of the dead?

2019-04-29 18:37:23 +0000 UTCAlso, I love you, but man you're a nit-picker in this episode. Made it really difficult to enjoy because you were focusing on what wasn't happening instead of what was.

2019-04-29 18:31:48 +0000 UTCBabes if they used the dragons right away, they would have lost all sense of surprise against the Night King. The plan was for Dany and Jon to wait for the NK to attack Bran first.
