(Sorry, this episode left me with so many questions...). How did Cersei know what Missandei meant to Dany? It’s totally bizarre for Cersei to ask for Dany’s surrender under threat that she would execute a random hostage. They went through the trouble of first capturing her, and then displaying her like that, all in a ploy to try to break Dany. Of course as the audience we know about their relationship, but Cersei shouldn’t know that. Yes, Missandei was at the Dragon Pit in season 7, but so were a lot of people. Executing Missandei was meant to be personal, so is this a plot hole, or is there a spy?

2019-05-10 03:19:21 +0000 UTCOh, and two call-backs I’d like to see (since this season loves call-backs..): Missandei telling Dany that she’s seen her listen to her advisors, and seen her find another way that only she could see. I hope we see this, and not Dany going “mad-queen” which would be some misogynist BS in my opinion. Also, in Dance of Dragons Shireen told Stannis that it was all the choosing sides that made everyone so horrible in the original Dance of Dragons. I hope we see a resolution (which Dany finds) where people don’t have to choose sides between her and Jon. I love them both. My pipe dream would be for Dany to root out Cersei in some brilliant way that minimizes the loss of innocent life, and then gives the North its independence to be ruled by Jon. That seems a good start to breaking the wheel for me. But it’s GoT, so I’ll watch, drink, and know nothing. :)

Plus, it’s really clear in the last episode that Cersei loathes Euron, so how do you think their relationship will play out? Do you think Dany’s six seasons in Essos will play a role in the last two episodes? She still has the Second Sons, presumably connections there, and the Golden Company are from Essos. Lastly, there’s a surprisingly popular fan theory that when Drogon bailed on Dany for season 5 he was off laying eggs, (because dragons can change gender...) and will go recruit those dragons in Essos to fight for Dany. Total tin foil hat?
